Will I be able to take a picture of the Athena Parthenos? I love Greek culture, and can't afford to actually go, so this is the closest I'll get.

You can take pictures at second floor where Athena statue is. First floor has painting exhibition where photography is prohibited. Hope it helps.

Oh yes the nice people at the ticket counter will tell you where you can tale photos and there are signs as well

I've taken several of Athena. But can't leave them here. Look at the site for pictures, I see 15 are there.

Yes! I took a lot of pictures. No pics downstairs in the art gallery tho. There are signs telling that as you go look at the paintings
