We stayed here in our 2020 class A motorhome. 38.5 feet long with a toad vehicle behind us coming in at about 50 feet total length.. The customer service and helpfulness at this particular KOA is top notch… Have been to 3 other KOA’s in other states and this particular one in River Ridge area was hands down the most user friendly and pleasant campground experience yet from a KOA… security at night was a plus and we felt very secure with plenty of lighting throughout as well. We will return here for any and all New Orleans activities in the future

Easy, clean, convenient, and quiet! About 30 mins from downtown + the French quarter (with traffic on Friday and Saturday evening). We got a very nice, shady spot in the back row and enjoyed our neighbors. The pool area is clean and there's a nice playground for families. Laundry is very reasonable at $2.50 per w/d, or $4.50 per w/d for incredibly new washers. Basic, but everything you need. We would definitely return if we come back to the NOLA area.

No they dont
I would think u need to be a camper there to use the facility. You can always call them and ask for yourself.
Yes the koa has a shuttle bus to the French quarter
Yes you can have small dogs
I stayed in an RV, so you would have to call the office. Plus I bet they are booked. We bearly got our reservation when we made it in January for spring break in March. I'm sure all major holidays are booked fast
I'm sure you can call or look on their website to get their rates. I totally agree with the previous poster's comments about noise. I thought this campground was very good for RV's. But if I were tenting I would look elsewhere, or only your use it for a quick overnight stay.
Reasonable rates. Cant remember the exact amount, but it's a great place to stay.
With the free shuttle it's about 1 hour from Bourbon Street
We stayed there this March. There was no gate or guard, but felt very safe
13 miles about 30 minutes
No they don't rent trailers
City Park is 13 miles away, and has 1,300 acres with almost everything from active to restful, from amusement rides to a dog park, from a sculpture museum to bikes-for-rent.
Yes they do it leaves about 8 am and will pick you up at 5 pm for the return.
Friendly staff, clean park and level RV pads. Easy drive down to the city.
The lady told me "Well, it's New Orleans". Well, I don't care if it's New York City! I'm not paying that much to stay in my own camper for a night!
Yes they do have showers and restrooms.
