I went in to Watkins because I was experiencing some COVID symptoms and wanted to immediately get checked out. I went in and told the nurse my symptoms, she took my temperature (I had a fever) then told me she doesn’t think it’s COVID but would test me anyway. She gave me an at home test and said it would come back negative because my symptoms were so new, then she told me to continue life as normal. I took the at home test and tested positive, then my other test came back positive as well. Thank you watkins for not believing me and invalidating my pain:)

Turned my roommate away for a covid test told her she had a cold and wouldn’t give her a note out of class. She tested positive for covid this morning.

The wait was a little long but I think that was due to covid related measures. I got a covid test and the nurse was nice and then I met a female doctor who examined my hurt elbow and gave me what I believe to be an accurate examination and was very sweet to me. She gave me tips on how to make the healing go faster too.

I recently went to Watkins several times for health issues, and was always treated very well. Receptionists can be a little cold and uninviting, but the nurses are all very nice and helpful. Dr. Hamel was not only kind, but also knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. I made two trips to the lab, and the receptionists there were very kind and attentive, and both the lab techs who drew my blood were nice and quick to accommodate to my fear of needles, making for a good experience. The pharmacy was also great at helping me to understand my medication and the specifics of it. Overall, I received great care at Watkins, being treated with dignity and respect every step of the way.
