It appears to be a very good place for our older population to live with the confidence of safety and security they deserve.

Staff really care about the residents, they know them all by name. The community is so welcoming. Food is amazing! Great place for mom and dad.

I have an elderly friend recently widowed that moved here from Georgia. She has a studio apartment on the 2nd floor. Cute balcony that is large enough to hold 2 plastic lawn chairs with arm rests and a plant stand. She has a single bed with room for 2 night stands and extra. A wall of closets with 3 sliding doors. Nice sized bathroom with walk in shower with seat. Small refrigerator and counter space for coffee maker and toaster. Nice closet in entry way. The apartment is bright due to a glass patio door and wide windows in bedroom and living room area. The dining room downstairs is an open plan and lots of space between tables to maneuver walkers and wheelchairs. I was there for Sunday evening's supper which had an excellent starter of cabbage soup. Main entree was choice of shrimp tortellini with Brussel sprouts or chicken fried rice with an egg roll. Vanilla ice cream for dessert. The food was tasty with good presentation. The dining area has something similar to sky vents. You can bring a small pet for an additional fee per month which is less than a one night stay fee at a big hotel chain. The ground floor apartments are more expensive but you can put up a small fence to allow your pet some running space. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Having worked in the medical field I have visited several nursing care facilities and a few assisted living ones. I was impressed! I would prefer to be in my own home but I could picture myself living there as I age. There are safety features built in similar life alert connected to the fire station nearby. Walking trails and good parking should you still drive. Proximity to major hospitals is a big plus also along with restaurants and the Mall of Louisiana.

Yes.... If he can pay to afford their price Medicaid has nothing to do with him living there
This is an Independent living facility. If you need assistance this would not work for you
