As a former employee I am baffled that such an organization is allowed to continue operating.

I would give no stars if it were a choice. I was at the Concord location on Copperfield blvd. This facility claims to help people in need. The staff is unknowledgeable, untrained, irresponsible, and not qualified to administer the “medication” they claim helps people. They are so unqualified in fact that they almost killed me. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! Anything, I repeat ANYTHING is better than the severe lack of care you will receive here. They sent me home and by the time I got home I was convulsing, eyes rolling in the back of my head, irresponsible; I spent yesterday in the ER. THAT WAS ANOTHER NIGHTMARE IN AND OF ITSELF!! THese people do not care, they do not know the possibility of rare traumatic side effects, and they should be shut down indefinitely!!!!!

I have nothing good to say about Mcleod. I was there a few weeks ago in the inpatient treatment and it was the worst experience I have ever had. As a female, I always felt harassed by male clients and I would tell staff members. Staff didn't do a thing to address that issue. I saw disturbing things, clients had contraband, they had cell phones, snacks - things that staff is supposed to check when cliens are coming in. This was informed to staff and management, and all they did was minimize smoke breaks as a punishment. They do not reinforce their rules. Clients were having s3x with each other and staff was aware, they didn't do anything to prevent this from happening. Current Management should be fired for allowing this behavior. Some clients had Covid and they were still allow to be with the rest of us, clients did not wear a mask. With the covid situation you can even say they do not care to practice social distancing, staff would put everyone in one elevator and it was uncomfortable knowingly that we should be social distancing as much as possible. I choose mcleod because I heard good things about them but after my experience, All I can see is they only care about the money $$$$. Stay away from mcleod

I went into it blind. Only knowing the bad. That this place was a hang out for addicts basically is what I had always heard. I started at a clinic in Greenville NC not associated with McCleod Center but since I started with MCCleod I will drive hours to stay in their care even if their are others closer. Why? They are a to the point facility they stay open lover than any other clinics I’ve looked up & they work with you sometimes if you have some unforeseen circumstances that come up and you need their assistance... yes, if it’s a odd request then they have to ask around because it seems like slog of councilors come and go but still AS LONG AS YOU ARE DOING RIGHT, passing drug screens & coming in if they call you.... then they WILL HELP YOU IN EVERYWAY TO MAKE LIFE EASIER AND SOBRIETY A REALITY BECAUSE THEY SEE YOU TAKE TREATMENT SERIOUSLY BUT if you do not they will not either. And I don’t mean that like they could care less. They just want you to come here ready to really change
No. they take it upon checkin and only approved ppl on your list can call you certain days and times. also no TVs in your rooms, everyone shares TVroom common area.
Building opens at 8:30. They stop taking intakes at 11
Cigarettes, yes!
U can bring pajamas, house shoes, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, t-shirts& jeans, sweats sweatshirts, nothing with alcohol, cologne, mouthwash,u can bring books....
Call for days & times a physician is on site. Not daily and only until 11am
You can't dose until you've completed intake, but it's $12 for methadone & $18 for Suboxone/Subutex! Unless u have Medicaid, then it's free!
On a holiday they r closed for regular business, however dosing is open usually 6am to 9pm, like on weekends!
Im not sure. You can call? I went in for outpatient and had to wait about an hour. What are you trying to do?
At the methadone clinic there is a camera in the bathroom, at the in patient/out patient rehab there is a two way mirror.
Yes. They cover ALL bases of addiction!!! And they love what they do!!
Yes, weed is a drug. But if you're asking if you should go to a methadone clinic for help quitting weed hen my answer would be : HELL NO! Methadone/Suboxone should only be used to help opiate addicts. Weed is not physically addicting and methadone is. Methadone is a completely different ball game. If you're asking if you're allowed to smoke weed and attend the McLeod Ctr then the answer is: kinda. If you continue using weed you will never get any take home bottles and you'll never advance in your recovery. Now, I don't think they kick you out for using weed but they will make it very clear to you that they disapprove. The goal is to help you get totally clean.
You can use it for BOTH. I was addicted to Pain Pills but a lot of people in the group sessions are addicted to heroin too. Then other things as well. But it’s meant to help get you on to a medication that CAN BE REGULATED PROPERLY. Since most other drugs can be laced and cut with anything. (Which I haven’t experienced it but at the time I went into the Methadone Program in Greenville NC there was a lot of News on Heroine or I guess it was called Black Tar Heroine that hit the streets and it was actually killing people so their was this massive influx into the outpatient & inpatient services. It was bad. Once a week there would be people in my groups overdosing in dollar general bathrooms. Horrible. So I went Off there but all I’m saying is it does HELP TREMENDOUSLY I HAD A HABIT I THOUGHT WOULD NEVER END. Methadone for me, did help. I was taking over 10+ Different pills a day and I am down to one dose first thing in the am. I now control my own life!
They accept medicaid and some other insurances, too.
Yes
