Dr. Locke is not only a great vet, but a compassionate person. She has seen multiple pets through the span of their lifetime with us. I’m so thankful for a quick work-in for our girl. We would never go anywhere else.

I brought my first exotic pet - my bearded dragon, Neko, here for an issue with his tail. They never talked down to me because it’s my first exotic and never treated me like I didn’t know how to care for him. They were so respectful and just wanting to help me raise a healthy baby dragon. I felt confident and comfortable with them beyond words. I drive an hour to bring my dragon to them and they were well worth it! My exotic vet for life
Beanz
Very friendly staff. Their pricing is upfront and reasonable.
Emily Oshita
Great experience. Knowledge and made us feel as comfortable as possible. Pricing is up front and they treat my birds so carefully.

I know they treat them. But honestly dont what they will charge. God bless you for rescuing the snake. Call them tomorrow they can give you a price quote over the phone.
We see several squirrels a month, pets mostly and then babies from the wild of course during the stormy months🙂
Yes. Dr. Locke and Dr. Tepedino are great with bearded dragon knowledge and treatment.
They do but I have no idea how much boarding animals there costs. They are very good at returning phone calls and questions 🤗
Yes. Quite a few, in fact. We see them on a daily basis
I'm sure they do but you would have to probably call or a price
We can write health certificates, yes
Yes they see ferrets and just give them a call
You might just have want to call them and ask. That's your best bet. Also ask which vet doctor there specializes in snakes so you can get the best vet doctor. Hope this helps.
We treat chickens and all other kinds of birds. A regular exam is $72
Yes, pigeons and most other birds 👍
Then, I suggest a physical exam to check him over. -DrDan
The cost for an exam is $70, and a skin scrape (parasite test) is $42. However, many times we can tell what is going on and treat for a parasite even without the test!
Hi! Our regular scheduled exam fee is $70. We usually also run a fecal Gram stain, $45. Often wellness blood tests ($99).
Its best to call and ask one of the techs on staff to get an idea of what the treatment you need might cost since they can vary based on the specific species you own!
Yes, we have rabies and distemper vaccines appropriate for vaccinating ferrets👍
please take him to be sure
From $105 to $145. Really depends on size and severity.
A CBC and serum chemistry is $137. If run for wellness purposes with an annual physical exam and fecal gram stain exam, the price drops to $99. People are often confused about what routine blood tests check for. It does not also include gender analysis or check for viruses for example
Yes, they are popular so we see plenty of then. Regular, scheduled exams are $70. We also recommend a fecal exam for parasites in most instances ($30), so please bring along a fresh sample if you want to be sure there are no internal parasites.
$17 if a technician is able, and that's usually the case
We do! More than enough knowledge to diagnose and treat them, and if we need additional info, about breeding or hibernating them for example, we tap into our network of colleagues via the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians.
Yes, we offer DNA gender testing.
Currently beak trims are $31.50 and only performed by a doctor. No exam/office visit is required, but we do work by appointment. Thanks for asking! -DrDan
Yes, we all see birds including cockatiels which are among the most popular. Dr. Eckermann and Dr. Locke are both very bird savvy. -DrDan
You should contact the office for answers to the questions you have
I'm sure they do treat iguanas, but I don't know what it might cost.
v
They do xrays but they dont do payment plans
If you are talking about weight loss in a gecko, yes, we see and treat that. And yes, we will work within your budget. If diagnosis and treatment recommendations exceed your budget, we accept Care Credit; you can apply for Care Credit online before (or during) your visit.
Yes we do! Exams are $65. No idea on total cost without the exam, but you could be looking at anywhere from another $50 to $250 for testing and treatment. Bacteria, viruses or a combination of these can cause tortoise URI disease. We have seen it all. -DrDan
In the US the only exotic animal insurer is Nationwide. You pay for services to the vet and then you file with nationwide for reimbursement. There is no network as we think of with human health insurance.
Yes they treat primates. We take our capuchins and patas's monks there. Top notch
Yes, our Dr. Ashley Emanuele did that last week, I believe. She used several techniques to right goldfish with buoyancy problems -DrDan
They have a lot of service for potbelly pigs. They offer full exam and all the required shots. Also offer ear cleaning and hove shaping. Ask for Dr. DAN. I take my pot belly pig there for all her vet appointments.
Yes but they are charged as "work in urgent care" visits, more than regular scheduled appts -DrDan
Yes I agree ask for Dr. Dan and like the other person said they may want to do a full exam. But if I were you I would call them. They will be able to send you an estimate of the cost. The staff there is very friendly.
Definitely give them a call, they are really good about giving an estimate and keeping to it. They are the best exotic pet veterinarians! I go there for my pet, and they always keep costs close, if not exactly, what they quote you.
I'm sure they will. You should call to get a price.
I believe it's 65.00
This is DrDan: our exam fee for rat #1 is 64.00, and $55 for each one after
Avian and Exotic treats axolotls (we are veterinarians) but does not "have" or sell them
Yes they care for all exotic animals. Dr.Dan Johnson and his staff of doctors are awesome.
Hi, DrDan here: it varies by the time the surgery takes, thus the size of the tumor is important to the final cost; figure on $600 to $1200.
Don't know the cost but i think they do it.
Around $300 for a male and $400 for a female.
Yes, please call. We board for our clients and we require a current physical exam and fecal parasite exam to board.
We work by appointment. Walk ins are more expensive than scheduled appointments. We see many ducks
They do make house calls. But you'd have to call and ask
Sorry, no. But we keep an adoption book at our front desk for our clients to browse through if you are interested in putting their info in there.
All pet insurance is accepted. Yesn a turtle exam is $65
Jim is correct: a regular exam appointment is $65.10 A sick patient may need any of a number of tests in order to figure out why it is sick, and those cost more. But if a guinea pig has an obvious problem, the the total cost is $65.10 plus meds... Thank you, Jim :)
Yup they board.
It's $315 give or take, complete! And we always intubate them, we have complete airway control (esp. difficult in bunnies)
Yes they do but I don't have a clue how much it cost, they'll definitely treat you right though.
Not expensive compared comparable care for a dog or cat. My experience is with pet chickens.
I think you had better call the office. I don't think they monitor this.
Casey, yes we spay many female rabbits. I can provide some references if you like. Bests -Dr. Dan Johnson
I have dealt with a chameleon, but they do just about everything. They are super nice and educated, just give them a call.
You should bring them in so their specialist can take a look. They always do better when there is an overall check up
