This is my regular post office. The clerks are all friendly. New faces have joined the team & I'm glad the overworked folks are getting some help. I've encountered a few slip ups with package delivery but have left satisfied in the end. Like other businesses, the pandemic has affected them with changing hours & increases in pricing of services. The workers should be applauded for their continued service.👏👏

As I waited in line to mail my packaged, I watched and listened to Manager Alex patiently and graciously help an angry customer. Although accused, cussed at, and treated with disrespect, his calm, even keel response brought a calm to a nasty situation. It was refreshing to see a good example of how we should all respond to angry people in our lives.

Very very unhappy every time I go to this post office and am tired of dealing with them at this point. We moved into a new build recently and our keys to our mailbox has been in complete limbo for weeks now. Even with all of that they keep putting our mail into that box and we haven't been able to get it for weeks, even with having them put in a not to hold our mail there. They have also sent some of our mail back to the sender without permission. Very frustrating. They are also very slow and unfriendly even when you try to be friendly with them.

I go here almost daily to drop of packages. Since I use pre-paid labels on my packages, I don't always have to go to the counter for assistance. They have an area next to the main counter that has a bin. I can drop off my pre-paid packages in the bin to be scanned later. The staff is friendly and has been helpful is locating any missing packages. They were helpful with filling out customs forms for packages going overseas. There is street parking in front and street side of the building. Post office boxes are available. There is a set of stairs on one end, and a ramp at the other end of the front entrance.

Are you new to the area? My suggestion would be to write down your complete address, then take that in to the post office or show your post man and ask them to verify it for you and let them know why you asked them to verify it for you. If nothing else the post master general would know about the mis- placement of your package.
Sorry, not sure Michelle
The phone rings and rings and then just stops ringing but does not hang up. I understand BUSY, but no one EVER picks up that phone. this comment dated January 7, 2020.
Usually 11:00, but the security people are sometimes early.
On the USPS website they should have that information. Also it should give you a number you can call for more information. Or go to the Springfield Post Office they are friendly and helpful.
