Convenient way to canoe or tube down White River. We park then pay for a canoe, life jackets, and paddles. A bus takes us to one of several put-in points where we are given a canoe and paddles. You float/paddle down river back to where you parked at Canoe Country. White River is pretty tame and relaxing.

This was such a great experience. The people are all very friendly. The ride to the dropoff point wasn't bad. Entry into the river was pretty easy and it was a really nice trip down the river. This would be a 5 star experience but where you exit the river is the worst! BE SURE TO BRING WATER SHOES! It was so rocky and slippery. My feet were all torn up trying to get up such a steep slope. It is such a small area and everyone is trying to exit at the same time. I will probably go again but not without water shoes. If they could fix that spot to make it much easier to exit, that would be amazing!

Had a great time canoeing. Ordering the trip online was super easy. The pricing was great. The trip was a lot of fun. My kids loved it. All three of them. The 11-year-old, the 6-year-old, and even the baby. We saw a bunch of turtles while canoeing and some fish. It was a really fun time.

The BEST experience! An amazing, fun, relaxing day. Our son's first river trip "it was THE BEST DAY HE EVER HAD!" He says that about a lot of things we do, but he really means it this time! Ha ha. They have excellent staff- they are extremely helpful, informative, and overall positively great people! They deserve to make infinite amounts of money for everything they do to help you have the greatest time ever through Canoe Country Rentals, but they only charge you like 15 bucks give or take a few (depends on the equipment you choose and the length of your trip.) But you'll have the time of your life. It is an amazing mental health recharge from everything going on in the world, you get mega healthy benefits like fresh air, Vitamin D, and exercise! Bring dry bag/s to keep important stuff dry (bring extra lighters/cigs-you will lose at least 1 pack, I could bet more than1 ha ha. /plenty of sunscreen and reapply every hour or so). They sell bungee cords, straps, and paddles if you don't have those things for tubes. Bring your own straps/bungees/paddles if you want to anchor to your group or cooler boat to save $$. Definitely bring a cooler boat or add one of theirs for $5! It's big enough for huge coolers or smaller ones and all your other supplies like towels, sunscreen, dry bags. We took the half day tube trip (5miles, 4/5hrs) but we took our time and stopped to play in water, eat snacks, and meet and talk to other river people. I believe we actually were on the river for 8hrs! Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated and beer if you have a DD lol you'll want to bring lunch or snacks. If you can't tell, I absolutely recommend this place-if you only do 1 thing this summer, take a trip down the river with Canoe Country!

I think k it's cool that they are open though October. I may go a couple more times
Half day tube rentals are $11.22. it's around 5 miles. The 2-3 hour tube rentals are $9.35 and is a 2 mile trip. If you are going with a group, I would suggest that you bring something to ties your tubes together so y'all can float down the river together:)
To be comfortable 2. I just camped at canoe country 2 weekends ago and went canoeing on the 7 mile trip. Honestly rent kayaks or tubes! Canoeing was nothing but work and exhausting. Had to keep getting out and pushing the canoe in several low spots..5 miles in I switched from friend for her kayak and it was so much easier!!!
Yes, you can bring your own anything!! Just remember cops patrol at times 😜 They don't own the river, but if you don't pay to go then make sure you have rides at each end (where you start and where you're finishing!) Can only park at Canoe Country if you pay them
Depends on the trip, it's ten dollars if you bring your own canoe. The website usually has prices.
They are still open I believe they close in October
