To be comfortable 2. I just camped at canoe country 2 weekends ago and went canoeing on the 7 mile trip. Honestly rent kayaks or tubes! Canoeing was nothing but work and exhausting. Had to keep getting out and pushing the canoe in several low spots..5 miles in I switched from friend for her kayak and it was so much easier!!!
