Our family just spent a super fun week on Devils Lake. The best way to enjoy the lake was with water toys from Rob’s Rentals: pontoon boat, jet skis, and lily pad. The guys at the shop, and Rob himself, were so invested in making sure we had every opportunity to maximize our fun. We just can’t thank them enough. We just returned the rentals an hour ago and are already dreaming about next year!

DO NOT GO HERE! We were told to be there by 9. We show up at 9 and a worker took the keys to the truck the previous night. We waited around until they moved the skis around and were on our way. The ski wasn’t luxury, there were tons of damage and one of the dry boxes dude that even close properly. When they take the $500 for damage they don’t even use it on the unit.Then when riding the machine shut off 5-6 times while casually going down the lake. The ski then died in open water at <10 mph. The motor then would not turn over. Towed in the jet ski, and gave it back. They said rock in impeller. At the dock we were told we would get a call, lady said mechanic was there and looking at it and no more we’re available bc of bookings tomorrow (welllll fix the one you gave me and give me a different one, common sense.) Called before close to be told that it won’t get fixed until tomorrow and there may be more damage as well. The issue with the ski is not my problem, if the business was ran correctly a new ski woulda been dropped off when I brought mine back, that’s how you do business. Take your money else where, these people sure DO NOT DESERVE IT! UPDATE: 8/30/20 Another one of Robs rentals bites the dust this past weekend ,be careful folks, they will milk you dry.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. By far the worst company I have ever rented from. They are liars and horribly unprofessional. We had a jet ski rental on Devils lake for two days- yesterday (the first day) while riding in deep water it shut off for NO REASON and would not start. We called the company and they had us tow it back to the boat launch where we were told it was a BATTERY ISSUE & that we needed to call them for an estimate on when we could get it back. When we called around 4:30pm they said a mechanic needed to look at it due to rocks in the prop- VERY DIFFERENT from what they told us at the launch. They don’t even have a mechanic there! They ship it out for service. We never got the jet ski back to use- we used it for 7 hours of the two days we had it. The woman who answers the phone is NASTY and MEAN to anyone she talks to. We haven’t gotten any money back & they REFUSE TO REFUND US ANY MONEY. Poor poor way to run a business. Do not ever do business with these nasty people! This is apparently how they run their business- the positive reviews must come from their friends & family because they are very far from a 5 star rating. Highly recommend boat rentals from MANITOU BEACH MARINA- 5/5 stars for sure!
