You start with a bus(school)ride to the drop off site to get your canoe/kayak in the river. I think that would totally work. It is fun and relaxing. My only complaint is with the return spot, it's awful, it's steep, rocky and muddy. Definitely not handicap accessible. Unless there was another spot that I didn't see.
