We are so grateful and glad we hired Shadé Coleman from Details Made Simple. Shadé was a pleasure to work with, she is professional, easy to talk to, organized, patient, and everything you could ask for from a coordinator. We had the peace of mind package, we found it so helpful to have those 3 meetings and walk through with her and she created a great timeline that really helped us plan and tighten up our timeline as the day got closer. We did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day, she was always right there to help and took care of everything and more than we could have asked her to. There were things that I completely forgot about for example I really wanted a photo with a specific item and Shadé was right there with the item making sure we got shots with it. Her attention to detail, ability to stay organized and calm all day long is beyond impressive. Shadé was amazing! We highly recommend Shadé Coleman and Details Made Simple. Shadé made everyone feel at ease, went above and beyond, and kept our day on and ahead of schedule, and this allowed us to be present and soak in every bit of our wedding day! There was an issue with our venue 2 weeks prior to our event and Shadé called us right away to talk with us and guide us and truly had our best interest. We used Details Made Simple for our daughter’s wedding. Our wedding planner Shay’s work was nothing short of AMAZING! Her expertise, knowledge, and suggestions simply made the day perfect. NO way we could have done it without her. She was reassuring, dealt with all the vendors for us and kept every detail organized. Let’s talk about the wedding day: Shay and her colleague Erin kept everything running smoothly—from getting ready to transportation, to helping guests find their seats, collecting our decor—I mean they took care of everything! Our family truly enjoyed the day and we were able to be in the moment knowing they were there to make things perfect. If you are planning a wedding, don’t hesitate to use this company as your planner, you will not regret it!

We chose the Peace of Mind package and began working with Carla 3 months before our wedding day (2/20/22). Carla was amazing to work with—super responsive and always with a positive, can-do attitude that made my now-husband and I feel comfortable after every meeting. Ahead of the wedding day, she worked seamlessly with our venue and all of our vendors on sending certificates of insurance, finalizing a timeline, and arranging COVID tests for our vendors (more on that in a sec). When the Omicron surge happened, Carla helped us adapt our original wedding plan to include day-of COVID testing for all of our guests, which was no easy feat. She arranged for one of her team members, Tamara, to check every guest's COVID at-home rapid test upon entry. Even though we only hired Tamara to help us with the COVID tests, she also went above and beyond on our wedding day, assisting Carla with literally everything. I was worried about the COVID testing process going smoothly on our wedding day, but it did thanks to Tamara. So many of our guests thanked us for taking this extra precaution because it made them feel super safe and have a worry-free time. Besides this pandemic-specific help, Carla kept everything super organized and solved problems as they came up so we didn't have to (and there were probably some minor problems she solved that we don't even know about!). For example, when our florist forgot to put flowers on our cake, she repurposed my bouquet so no one would know the difference. She also gave us guidance on tipping and worked with all our vendors to ensure our event was as amazing as possible. Honestly, my now-husband thought that we didn't need a wedding coordinator because we planned so much of our wedding ourselves, but the morning after our wedding, he told me that working with Details Made Simple was worth every penny. If you have the budget for a wedding coordinator (or can sacrifice something else for one), Carla is THE BEST. Both of our families absolutely loved working with her and her team, and I credit our wedding day being as smooth and stress-free as it was to all of her hard work.
