With two enclosed dog areas, a nice hiking trail with a pond, a playground, and a running track, this is a neighborhood gem.

Don’t leave belongings in your car. We got robbed in the middle of the day in the parking lot. They have cameras that are blocked by trees. Thieves are lurking around the parking lot. Your cameras are useless.

Temporary fencing is installed for the large park to plug the holes made by the trees that fell. It's a mess inside but all the main trails are navigable. A bit less shade in some areas now. Bug repellant wouldn't hurt either. Have fun!
Yes, that shouldn't be a problem. It's an actual dog park and approximately 3 acres are fenced in so they can run off leash. There are more acres on the outside of the fenced in area and there is a pond that dogs and the occasional brave human, splash in.
No children are allowed at the dog park, as stated in the park's rules.
Yes, the bathrooms are open, men and women. But, they are locked nightly at 7:00pm.
Their website says 24 hours and I don't recall any gate or something preventing you from going any time you'd like. Great place though you should check it out
Hi there! The fenced area is closed for now. No word on when it will reopen. Sorry! But the rest of the park is good to go for on leash and the pond is open :)
You are advised to keep your dog on a leash in the water area, you have to leave a gated woods to go there.
Thats great. Two weeks ago it was still under construction
About half an hour.
If your dog is dominating, and if it is not drawing blood, if it is barking or growling at other dogs and trying to physically dominate, if you leash him, it changes everything at that moment. He goes into protection mode. You are not giving him the time.to work things out in the "school yard" per se. If you let the dogs work it out in a group while moving in the same direction with other dogs and owners, the behavior is normal and natural. Now if your dog is going for the throat and bellies of other dogs and will draw blood then of course you should never bring him/her to a dog park. If you can not control him and walk off after leashing him leave him home! But if you walk with others who understand this, you may learn that your dog can walk healthy with other dogs! It is ashame that I see so many people that do not understand the animals and their pecking order! Rough play, and growling, to the degree of even actual "fighting" where no blood is drawn is natural!
You can ride bikes but trails are mostly for dogs could be a hazard if someone has many dogs on a leash bathroom locked when there is a plumbing problem cyress park in mantua is great for bikes many trails through the wood
Its a 6 foot fence well maintained a couple spots a small dog could get under in the back side
The sigh suggests you leave at dusk but no one will kick you out ive been there till dark
I would say the easiest way is to exit out of the gate that is on the other side of the park (opposite of the entrance), then follow the path to a fork and go to the right and just follow that path to the beach. After the beach, it loops back up for easy access back into the fenced in area. Hope your dog enjoys the water!
Yes there is a pavillion there but no bbq grills provided. You have to bring you own grill.
Last time I looked the lake was still drained from the winter
Its very popular, theres always lots of dogs there. Even when its winter and dark out, people will meet there in the evening to let their dogs play.
Yes, although it might be prudent to avoid that during the winter. Conditions can be mushy and slippery.
No, you need to get a fishing license from a fish and wildlife center or online. For saltwater fishing at the shore you need to register but it's free
