Beautiful view of Manhattan, I would recommend combining this with a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, then down Henry Street and then along the Promenade to Timeout Market to get something to eat

Keepin it real out here in Brooklyn Heights The promenade is such a popular hidden gem if that makes sense. I never regret making the walk down during my lunch breaks or whenever i'm in the area. The view is one of the best, comparable to the Gantry LIC view imo. The view is always different depending on the time you visit. The sunrise and sunset is truly something else. I hope to one day become those early joggers before sunrise, go out for an early jog and cool down at the promenade to the sunrise.

Great view, do recommend

Great view on Manhattan, but the excessive car noise is kind of annoying.

Use to be but starting this year, apparently not on special holidays such as 4th of July. They close off all entrances to the public into the promenade area. It's supposed to be a public area, yet unless you buy a ticket, an event will have it blocked off.
Not on Montague St and Pierrepont but if you go down to the pier you can find some areas
This area is usually safe, busy and well illuminated till about 11pm. Beyond that I would recommend taking your street saavy pills to be safe. Also, consider Brooklyn Bridge Park for even safer and better patrolled paths.
The parking can be kind of tough but I think there's some metered parking, and you can park a little further away from the park and get a spot.
The E Train does.
Yes you can , but you have to be reach over there very early morning, otherwise you'll not get chance
Agree with all of the other responses. Subway was the best option we have found.
You can park on the street nearby the park :)

Behind the prominad there was a bridge that let you go to the pier. Because o the construction of the apartments it was closed temporary. Idont know if its open now
Yes, you actually can grill there if you enter via the Brooklyn Bridge Park entrances (under the Promenade): 1) At the end of Fulton St. (just left of The Barge Music Yacht), 2) at Joralemon St., and 3) at Atlantic Ave. The grills are closest to Joralemon St. in front of the Marina.
Yes, multiple entrances from Montague and adjacent streets
No. There are many different viewing points. Great for photos or painting.
