Memorial Day weekend and there are BBQs as far as the eye can see. This is THE community park.

Do you need permission to barbecue in the park?

You do not. It might be the case that you need to stick to the Bandshell Picnic tables area. I’m not 100% sure about that, though. You can google maps search for Bandshell. I believe there’s parking there. BYO grill. Clean up after yourself. There are public toilets in that area, but they are not great. Also, there’s so much room. There were 100s of people out on a holiday weekend and there were places for every group to have shade.

No there is no reservations needed. You have to get there early. People bbq in the park.
