Drive in left lane on to scale, get off, go to window, any questions they have will be answered right tbere.
No just metals
Prices change based on metal prices in the market. Last time I was there I got 26$ for 600 pounds. Make sure to remove lead from cast iron joints before taking it there. They want the lead in the front building and not through the shredder.
It depends on the type of aluminum. There are several different types. Cast aluminum, sheet aluminum, dirty aluminum,6061,6063 and then aluminum cans even have an entirely different grade of their own. As well as clean aluminum rims. So, in order for me to better answer your question...may I ask what type of material you have? I go to CMC practically every day and have fir about 2 years now. So I am pretty knowledgeable about the prices, materials, and processes there. So if you let me know what kind of material you have, I can better answer your question. If you aren't sure which specific type of aluminum you have, just let me know what you got it from or off of and i can still likely tell you what it is along with the price! Have a great night! Hope I can be of assistance to you!!
Cmc does not take car batteries or any other types of batteries. However, other scrap yards like Mohawk Scrap Yard on Edgewood Ave and 12th St. as well as Quick Stop (on 8th St.) and Union Metals (McDuff Ave) do. Out of those three places Quick Stop Recycling is most likely to pay best for car batteries.
26 the last time i sold them a couple of weeks ago
What is standard pay for a car
Cans only 43 cents a pound.
Yes, however, I recommend taking the tire off, otherwise they will only pay around 15 cents per pound. Without the tire it is 50 to 70 cents per pound.
No, you don't have to take it apart. You load and unload the stuff yourself though.
Yes, however, you will likely want to separate your different wires as they all have different grades that can pay more or less. They do not, however, accept coaxial cable at all. Also, if you have rolls of wire, the wire must be taken off of the roll.
That answer is on the CMC website
Yes
Take off the air conditioning unit, tires, and fuel tank
Yes they do but these. But I don't know how much. The prices do change, sometimes daily
No, nothing can be picked up from there. And they only buy metal
They don't take cardboard
They do but i do not know the price they pay
Call them not me
YES...SCRAP METAL SELLING FOR $3.75/100LBS
Yes...$1.22/lbs
Hi Lisa, thank you for your question! Unfortunately we don't accept fiber optic wire.
No you can take in has much as you want
They do not accept coaxial. Most of it is actually copper coated steel wire.
If they are empty and have a hole cut in them
Yes you can
No
They are open today, but will be closed from the 22nd thru the 25th.
You can look up their price list on their website at www.cmcrecycling.com However, current prices for copper are as follows: #1 = $ 2.05 and #2 = $1.85 per pound, of course
They don't buy batteries
Well am just trying to get rid of it lol. I need this thing gone.
CMC buys Rebar. They have two scales. If your rebar is clean do not sell it on the tin shred scale but go next door to their other scale. You will get a higher price.
Holiday closed till tuesday
You will have to call them directly for the latest pricing
Thx anyway, we don't take kegs
Yes, they do. If you have any questions about what they take, or prices on different metals, you can always visit their website at www.cmc.com . They list all their prices as well as what metals and materials they accept. They also have a list a materials they do not accept. Prices change all the time, so I've found their website very helpful. And I would like to correct the other commenter, aluminum cans are not taken on the shedder scale, if you take it there, you will get paid for steel. Cans are taken on the smaller scale to the left of the shredder scale and pay 50 cents per pound.
You will need to call the office directly and speak with the buyer.
#1 is 2.27, #2 is 2.07
$7.25 a hundred
I believe sheet aluminum is .40 - .44 cents per pound. Extruded may be considered sheet, not sure. However, all aluminum prices range between .40 and .52 cents per pound. Excluding aluminum cans which are currently .55 cents per pound. Almost all of there prices are posted on their website. Just go to there website, then hit the menu button at the top left hand of the screen and click on scrap prices link. It list just about all there prices with a couple materials that you may have to call to inquire about.
They are whatever scrap per 100lb is.
Mike Murch.... Lmfao.... what are car parts made out of? Epic.
