Cmc does not take car batteries or any other types of batteries. However, other scrap yards like Mohawk Scrap Yard on Edgewood Ave and 12th St. as well as Quick Stop (on 8th St.) and Union Metals (McDuff Ave) do. Out of those three places Quick Stop Recycling is most likely to pay best for car batteries.
