Holiday closed till tuesday
Sounds like a clerical error to me!
They will be closed today and Monday. Their website contains information for all of their locations across the nation. So location specific information may not be available on the website. However, if you have signed up for their emailing list, or sign up for text messages, they tell you when they will be closed for inventory and well as issue coupons so you can get more money for your metal. Since I am a preferred customer, I receive these emails and coupons. They also have notices posted at their location stating they will be closed today and Monday for inventory. However, there are several other yards that are open on Saturdays and Sundays that are also open much later then CMC. I would advise you to take any copper, aluminum, and things like that to Union Metal on Mcduff Ave. However, they pay better for steel at Mohawk Scrap Yard on Edgewood Ave. I would advise you to never, ever, bring anything but steel to Mohawk, they pay much less for anything but steel.
Only one side is open Saturdays but because it's labor day weekend they are closed today
