5 cent a pound . im a scrapper that i make a little exstra and its not woth driving i fill my truck and make 60.00 then add 50 back into gas so 10.00 a day im struggling just to breath for copd and rods in my neck and a stint in my chest .sorry not worth it set it on the street its not worth but a doller or 2 .
Yes, just make sure it's drained. Right they're worth 6 cents per pound. Probably not worth the trip if that's all you have. I would suggest that you either bring more stuff to scrap and give the water heater away to your local scrap man.
