Very cool place! We enjoyed everything about our visit. The grounds are welcoming with the beautifully manicured flower beds. The staff is warm and friendly. They are very knowledgeable and informative... from the flowers to the working street organ to the windmill. A great place to visit!!

Stopped here for a quick visit on an RV trip. Beautiful grounds, lovely windmill, and enthusiastic staff who are eager to engage and teach about Dutch culture and the grinding process of the windmill. The gardens were well manicured and gorgeous. Kids enjoyed the carousel which runs every 30 min at no additional fee. The only downside was for as much as it cost to get in there wasn’t much to do except see the windmill, organ, and carousel. Was still worth the visit just thought it was a bit overpriced.

It is a very beautiful place with some aroma of Nederlands. The windmill is beautiful, you come into it but it has no stone so it is uncompleted. The country is peaceful. From my point of view, this place needs a restaurant to have lunch, brunch or just a coffee. If not, once you have turned it around, you have nothing more to do there.

This is a beautiful place to come and stroll, they have a marsh with all kinds of wildlife. The windmill is very fascinating to tour, the historic street organ was beautiful, just to see this historic gem and to see the inside and how it works was amazing and a wonderful learning experience. They have gift shops and a carousel that gives free rides every hour. I enjoyed my walk through this Netherlandish replica. I loved the women walking around in classic Dutch clothing and shoes. I recommend everyone take their family at least one time. You don’t have to go during the tulip festival I believe it’s something you can do all year round.

I would say two hours at a minimum, four hours to really enjoy all thats there
Hi Kristin. Yes, dogs are welcome in the park everywhere except in the windmill and shops (both buildings produce food products.) We do ask that furry friends are on a leash and their owners clean up after them. Thank you!
Hopefully... May 5 many of them didn't bloom...
You may see a few but with the later cold weather hanging on full bloom will probably be after the fifth
To fly a drone in our park, pilots must be FAA-licensed, fully insured, and have permission from our park manager in advance. Thanks.
The best place to buy bulbs is Veldheer Tulip Gardens on Quincy Street.
We open at 9am tomorrow and are open until 7pm with last tickets sold at 6.
Hi Teddy, it's unlikely that there will be tulips in April. Early to mid May is typically the best time to see tulips in bloom but it all depends on the weather going forward. Keep track on our website and Facebook page.
It depends on the weather but the tulips are usually done blooming by mid-May. However, as the tulips are done, we do replace them with annuals so you'll still see color!
Hi Deborah, we're only 5-10% in bloom right now and no real hot weather in the forecast so we should have tulips for the next few weeks barring any drastic weather changes.
No tulips, any time is good.

While we were happy to have tulips for several weeks they have now been replaced by thousands of beautiful annuals. We hope you enjoy your visit!
We visited on 25th May and tulips were there. All though it will be less but may last till coming weekend if it has survived the thunderstorm on Monday.
We still have many tulips in bloom currently. It depends on the weather how long they'll last. For info on events in Holland check out holland.org. Thanks!
Great to hear, Arjen! That's one of the best compliments we can get!
I was there on 12th, they looled good, but it all depende on weather and how long they last.
Hi Julie, we reached peak bloom last week but still have many tulips in bloom. How long it lasts all depends on the weather!
Yes leashed dogs are welcome in our park with the exception of the windmill and shops as food is produced in those areas. Thanks!
Yes you can. It's the last day and so pretty! $10 for anyone over 15yrs. $5 for kids 15 and under :D
Yes! Pets are welcome at our park. The only places they can't go are the windmill and shops.
Hi Shilpa, We will have many tulips in bloom this weekend to see. Tickets are available when you arrive. We hope you enjoy your visit!
The town, Holland, has a "tulip tracker" (Google it) that shows the state of tulips. We went the 2nd weekend last year and things were beautiful.
Hi Jill, yes we have some tulips already in bloom with the rest following in the next week or two. We hope you enjoy your visit!
Hi Angela, our shops carry many Dutch goodies but not fresh made pastries if that is what you are looking for. Plenty of cookies, banket, candy, etc. but if you're looking for a Dutch bakery your best bet in Holland is de Boer Bros. Bakkerij. During Tulip Time we will be hosting 2 Dutch food options - Tante Nellie's kitchen in our pavilion (closed Sundays) and a Dutch food truck on the weekends. Both do have dessert options! Hope to see you soon!
Sure! Our attractions are open from April 27 to October 6. Tulips are only in bloom for a few weeks but we have many other flowers in bloom during the whole season - hope to see you soon!
Hello, we have a few weeks until the tulips are in bloom. It's usually early to mid May. The park will open on April 27 for the season. Thanks and hope to see you then.
Hi Eddie, it's early to predict as the tulips are just beginning to peek above the soil. Generally they arrive in early to mid May. We try to keep you updated on our website and social media. Thanks!
Hi William. We love the snow and cold at this point as it's good for the tulips. So we're right on track! We'll have updates on our website as we get further along in the spring. Thanks!
Yes on the $10 not sure on the 2yr old
If you are Dutch which your names sounds like you are then Windmill Island could be the place.
This year it runs from May 4th- 12th. There are many establishments that offer specials during the festival. Enjoy!!
We're still open! Our attractions are open until October 7.
No worries, only a few in some of the gardens
Hi Irene, as others mentioned the majority of our tulips are past bloom. We're currently pulling beds and replacing them with annuals to keep our gardens looking great!
Maximum 2 hours. Don't expect a lot of tulips
Tulips are looking great. I predict they'll peak around the 8th.
Recommend visit during tulips festival
Hi Ron, admission price is $10 for adults and $5 for kids 3-15. Our season opens Saturday, April 14. We hope to see you soon!
