I had an appointment with a associate at 10:00AM. I arrived early and signed in, marking "YES" to the appointment column and by 9:50 she was helping someone who was there before me. Then another associate approached me and offer to help and start to marking off the names on the clipboard. I figure since the banker I had an appointment with is helping someone it might be a while before she can help me. I am not complaining about her. I know they are busy and time management is hard depending on each customer needs. Since another banker approached me to help I figure why not as I don't have language barrier. so I don't I don't really have a preference who is helping me. I just want to be in and out ASAP. After a while that second banker was saying in a condensing tone since I made an appointment with another banker why did I let her help me. She said she had other appointment to attend too. EXCUSE me, I told you I had an appointment and it was written in the paper. She said that I did not tell her I had an appointment. If you really look at the freaking clipboard, it is was marked YES on the appointment column. If you had other appointments why did you offer to help in the first place? So if you have an appointment with banker A you can't be help by banker B or C even though A is busy? Why such a STICKLER to the exact banker you had an appointment with??? Does one get commission for the appointment? My guess, I think the CITI corporate track performance and the appointment made online are tracked. Banker A said she will cancel my appointment. Most of the time there is a survey after your visit to the branch. One CITI banker from another branch told me that anything marked below 8 on the survey is not good. So mark according. It is tougher visiting a bank than seeing a doctor these days. One Chase branch weren't able to help unless you had an appointment. Bank of America only has two tellers in all the 3 branches at Flushing, no matter the size of the branch or with line out the door. I came to this branch because the one at Main Street is super busy. I know this is a small branch with 3 or 4 bank associate (at least they have more tellers than BOA). I made an appointment because I know it can get busy but getting reprimand for not sticking with the person I had an appointment really left a bad taste in my mouth. I just want to be out ASAP. I didn't know it is a big no no for others to help if you had an appointment w/a specific banker. Can't imagine what will be the repercussion if you are late on your appointment. Next time I will try the branch at Bell Blvd. Not sure if it is any better because the big picture is that corporate micromanagement is really affecting service render to customer.

Depositing cash takes forever. Compared to other bank, Citi's atm machine is really bad.
