If I can I will give them negative star, stay away from this bank We started our mortgage application back in early June and as a customer, I must say that this process has been very frustrating and upsetting.The underwriting process has been especially frustrating. I’m not even sure where to start. The underwriter asks for items piecemeal, and we try to accommodate by responding back with the requested information ASAP, but is nerve end, she keeps asking more information every time we reply and most of the question is repeated. Also, some of the items that the underwriter asks for do not make any sense. For example, I’m puzzled they ask for a child support documents when I’ve never had child support before.What is especially upsetting is that we mentioned that we need to close by a certain date, but it doesn’t seem like the underwriters are working towards our deadlines. There would be days and even weeks when I do not hear back. I have been told last minute that we can’t do the closing. This is the second delay. They know my closing schedule, how can Citi bank ask the second borrower to sign the paperwork last Min, This was supposed to be done a long time ago.I have been a frequent customer of your mortgage business, but experiences like this one make me hesitant to ever work with Citi again.

I didn’t get my bonus, and I requested to see manager. Citibank branch manager Tak can’t even speak Chinese in Flushing, this is out my exception. Additionally he’s trying to kick out client. I’m managing director in corporation and experienced to see ppl’s thought. He’s not good fit to this job in flushing to be honest. I saw Larry as well, the manager of teller in Citibank, he is even worse than Tak.

Their manager Tak said there is no way to escalate. This is rediculous. When I called customer service to ask for Tak’s manager name, they refer me back to the branch. Citibank is not building reputation and does not care about client experience at all. If you know answer, please post here. Thank you very much!
