Terrible, Terrible, Terrible customer service experience! I went to do a simple personal information change and the person at the window said I need to pay $5, I asked if there was any method of payment and she dismissed me and sent me outside for a money order when others paid with their debit or credit card. I tried to make an official complaint to the supervisor and they didn't want to believe me. They said that I did not ask to pay with my card. Last I remembered I don't work for them to know the method of payment. The employee should have suggested to me the options they accept!! This was a terrible experience and I hope someone from management can read this to make a change!

From what I was told you take the f-03 and pass the. You pay the 25 and get f-04 that’s what the lady told me ?was the f-04 test hard to take I am having some trouble passing it
You can take the test but you won't get your certificate unless you have a letter from a job stating that you work there
i belive you can renewal online now. just type in whatever fire license you have. for example search f-01 renewal and you should see it there
No need
No walk in same day
Visit https://a836-citypay.nyc.gov/citypay/FDNYCOF I believe that late renewals (90 days after the expiration date, up to I year) will incur a $ 25 penalty in addition to the renewal fee. Certifcates expired over one year past expiration date will not be renewed. New tests will be required. FDNY also reserves the right to require the applicants to take a re-examination upon submission of renewal applications.
What is the latest time you can come in to take a test
YES
No just go on the FDNY website and you'll see the information for it
Yes and also online
Yes
You just need to talk to them they'll tell you. Ask the security guard lady she's the one will ask you or the fire headquaters staff.
You can go online to their website if you cannot make it down there and you can fill out their form for an address change. Their website is on the back of the COF card. It is very simple to fill out.
Okay thank you
Depending on what you there for
Not sure what cbt is. Never heard of it.
Children, kids I really don't think they are allowed
Candidates who do not pass a test may retake it untill passing score is archived. Candidates must reregister each time they retake a test
I'm sure their open. not their now but try after 830
Good Morning, to answer your question, yes metro tech gives you the reading material...
You should be able
They tell you on site. You get the results in person.
Open, but still many people working from home and front desk people are clueless as ever. And assume youre asking as an MOS, not general public
Yes, it is open
No. Doors need to allow people the ability to exit in an emergency.
When you get pass the f-03 exam you can get the f-04 as well, just have to get back in line and pay the fee and you can walk out with both taking just 1 test.
You need a letter
Nope
Metal detectors and a state issued ID is necessary but other than that yeah the publican get in
If I'm not mistaken, they'd send a renewal letter that has the access info needed for online renewal. I prefer to go in person.
To add to Andre's response...the hours are 8-4 Mon-Fri. However you must be there between 8-2:30 in order to sit an exam, as the cashier's close at 3pm.
So I could not carry an employer letter
Call 311 n ask
You need a letter from your employer
https://www1.nyc.gov/site/fdny/business/all-certifications/cof-s60.page Visit this page. Study the guide provided. When you are ready, go to 9 Metrotech in Brooklyn NY. You get on line, tell them which test you want to take. Fill out the form. Pay the fee. Take the test. If you pass, you leave with your C of F card in hand
5 they schedule their last appointment for 2 but if your checked in and waiting your good . They stop taking cash payments at 3 or 4 pm
I would Google it and go on the website do not trust anybody be accurate
You are allowed to walk in if you don't have the correct letter of recommendation they will still let you take it but they will not issue the license until you bring the proper paperwork
No
I work at 9 Metrotech. The building is open. The testing/certification will be closed.
You have to take an on site test to get an ID.
No they are not.
They tell you 7 to 14 days
I do not think there is a grease. I think it is best you renew it before it expires but if I had to guess I would say it's 30 to 60 days before they make you take it over
Green
I think instead of asking strangers you're better off calling over at Metro Tech and find out the facts
Read the study booklet before you do the f95 but it is not a hard test and you can just go take it
But there when the doors open that way u in and out early
Yes Jeffrey, FDNY have all types of material you plan to prepare for. Study materials are free.
You have to go to FDNY headquarters and they'll direct you from there .... Headquarters is located downtown Brooklyn.
Please call FDNY and ask the question, Thank you
$ 25.00 money order or credit card payment no cash.
It usually begins at 9:00am but I would call directly just to be sure
If this is about the fdny competitive fire fighter test, its the time thats shown on your testing form thats mailed to you, if this is about the certificate of fitness they stop letting people in at 2:30 pm
Replace? Do you mean renew? There is no replacement for P99 since #6 oil is being phased out and the other fuel oils don't need a license. You can renew you licenses online now, or walk in
I never even got an email but when i called, they told me to come in anyway. I was really weary about what they were going to say, but they allowed me to schedule anyway a full 2 weeks after I handed in all my paperwork. Good luck!
