Went online got a quote made the down payment looked at my next month and it was $5 higher than my original insurance I thought it was getting cheaper insurance but it's kind of sneaky feels like took him 7 days to get my money back but at least I got my money back watch how you shop online... Especially when you don't talk to a person

HORRIBLE experience. Probably worst customer service experience in my life. I was rear ended 3 months ago and being both the person that hit me and I are both Progressive customers I thought things would go smoothly. I couldn’t have been more misguided in my thinking. Took my car to the ONLY Progressive preferred shop in my area and fast forward although the person who hit me immediately had their car totaled and taken care of, my vehicle remains awaiting repairs. The ONLY updates I get (if you could even call them that) are if I call my adjuster or shop myself. Only to be told by my adjuster that “it’s out of my hands” but yet she refuses to give me contact information for the “inspector” who is supposedly handling my car. When asked for my adjusters manager, am given a name and nothing more...no contact phone, email anything and then am told can’t transfer me as the manager is in meetings. No return phone call from her “manager” either. After doing my research I find it’s nearly impossible to locate any customer service/complaint department phone number etc. Guess it should be obvious that a company that lacks transparency in providing contact information for escalations is trying to hide from their horrible service. All I can say is BE WEARY of this company. Even if their rates are reasonable it will obviously cost you in the long run as I now have no choice but to pay an attorney to help me maneuver through this nightmare. Should be so simple as all I want is my car to be restored to same condition before they hit me and returned to me. No way it should take over 3 months.... especially being they claimed initially all that needed to be done was my bumper replaced.
