I was recently looking for somewhere to stay in this area close to the beach. I Called Oak Island Campground and left a voicemail. I never received a call back. I also emailed them TWICE, 1st Email was asking about options they had. They said they had a minimum 2 night stay. I then sent a reply asking for prices for a 2 night stay they never responded. I went and started a NEW email conversation, Inquiring about pricing for a 2 night stay. after 2 weeks of trying to get information I finally gave up. Don't waste your time trying to book here.

I had the worst experience I have ever had with the management.. they eventually double booked the place that we reserved a year in advance 2 years in a row and my family will not get to go on vacation this year… the first year they tried to accommodate us and put 6 people in a one bed camper to find out the floors were falling in and had cockroaches… not to mention I was cooking breakfast and the gas ran out in the middle of cooking and had to finish on a grill.. because they didn’t have any spare tanks…

Terribly unprofessional in all of the word. My first time owning a camper that was given to me. I asked the manager what was needed to get a spot. I was told just to pay 30$ for the background check and I was good to go. So I did, afterwards I was told that apparently my camper was to old for the campground after already paying. The woman said she would have another woman call me back after looking at the pictures of my camper. And she would decide if it could come. After two weeks of waiting, multiple phone calls and no word back. I got told to go and buy a new camper if i wanted a spot there from the lady. As you can see the camper is in great shape and clean. It's just not brand new. This campground doesn't mind packing you side by side like sardines in order to make more money. But apparently is to good for older campers.

Very friendly staff. All the untilites work and were in good shape. However, this RV Park is very tightly packed to the point of claustrophobia. It is my assumption, based on observations, that this park is used mainly by folks looking for a place to park their RV while doing seasonal work nearby. Our RV was so close to the one beside us that we could not extend our awning. This is not a “destination" RV Park. This park is good for one night or very short term. We stayed 4 nights (due to its close proximity to the airport and a skydive drop zone) but were very glad to leave and get some space.

I'm sorry, we do not have bathhouses and do not offer primitive camping. It's RV only here. For tent camping please try Holden Beach RV Campground http://www.hbrv.net Brunswick Beaches Camping Resort http://www.brunswickbeachescamping.com Carolina Beach State Park https://www.ncparks.gov/carolina-beach-state-park
Unless they went up I believe it's 45 a night. But no ammenties there.

You cant walk to the beach. You would have to drive about 2 miles. The lots are close together but it's a quiet place and we liked it.
Yes. Full hook ups. But tight spaces. A lot of permanent or long term residents. No restrooms. Convenient to everything. But not the best experience.
