Definitely would not recommend. Immediately after opening door to room, your hit with an awful smell of just old, moldy air. I proceeded to check out the rest of the room & noticed the bathroom had hair in the tub, as well as on the toilet. The shower was old and had an awful smell. The inside shower floor creeped as if it were going to cave in. The toilet water was a yellow/brown color as if it had been urinated in with flushing. The curtains were tough to close and had small tears in the fabric. The bedding had stains, again the color brown. Throughout the night I was uncomfortable and continuously felt like things were crawling on me. It’s a very old hotel and renovations are needed extremely bad. Thankfully the front desk was understanding when I requested a new room due to the smell but we literally were placed in one bad room to another.

Stayed there a week ago with my daughter for her lacrosse tournament. Believe it or not the stay was fine. The staff we dealt with was very pleasant. However we discovered roaches. Saw one the fist night then found more as we were checking out. They got into our bags because we found a few more on the ride home then several more after we threw the bags in the garage after getting home. I wrote a very similar review to this on the IHG survey that was sent to me. Today I get a call from the manager at that location. She was immediately confrontational toward me and stated there was no way the roaches came from the hotel effectively accusing me of lying about it. I was not asking for anything regarding compensation other so why would I lie about it. I would definitely not recommend this hotel based on the roaches and the management. And from the other reviews looks like I'm not the only one that has had issues.

The people here at this location are amazing; I witnessed the front desk clerk helping 3x parties at the same time and was able to assist all 3x successfully. The facilities are not the staff’s fault since they are lacking in basic resources such as additional help or even light bulbs which my room required. I would give high marks to the staff and would encourage management to provide them with the right resources to make this location even better. If given right resources, I could see this location being 5 stars simply based on the quality of the staff.

I've stayed here before, but this was the first time being on "the loud side" right next to I-40. The noise wasn't too bad until morning rush hour started. Also, breakfast was lacking... literally. Apparently (and unfortunately understandably) they're understaffed and their truck hadn't come in yet. They had more guests than anticipated and were out of several food items. Seems to me there should be a discount if you don't have the standard HIE breakfast items for guests to enjoy. By the way, the cinnamon rolls were cold (almost frozen). I ended up eating breakfast out instead. The staff was friendly, but the stay just wasn't what I normally get out of a HIE.
