Everyone was very accommodating and attentive. A huge shout out to Vickie in sales who assured my reservation was secure, Kevin who drove me and my friend to the Paul McCartney concert because getting an Uber was impossible and Greg for finding my keys and taking the time to leave a note to their whereabouts on the room door. I think they all deserve a big raise or at the very least lunch.

My Husband and I are Hilton rewards members and spend thousands and thousands of dollars yearly at their hotels. We love Hilton properties typically under most circumstances except the last one 2/26/22-2/28/22. The rates were higher the first night then the second, and I have been barreling back and forth with them Ever since, getting the front desk to relay messages from the manager who is never available because my credit card and my debit card we’re both charged for three nights, the manager relay the message to me through the front desk four days in a row that the money had be been refunded to my cards for the extra charges and they recognize their wrongdoing, mind you this was last Monday when I was told that. It is now one week and two days later and my bank accounts one of them is in the negative because of these charges and no one is willing to tell us anything(my husband or myself) Except it’s been refunded. The bathroom was terrible and it was dirty but we didn’t complain because we know sometimes every property isn’t kept the same way and we needed an escape from our home for the weekend as renovated our home. I wouldn’t even step in the shower without flip flops but because we are reward members and are usually taken very good care of, we did not make a big deal. I was overcharged, manager wouldn’t talk to me, and I am also Marriott rewards holder too so I am guessing that will be where we stay from now on. Very let down considering my husband has been an honor reward member for ten plus years. They definitely just lost ALOT OF BUSINESS BECAUSE HIS COMPANY which is a public corporation was using them also. They WILL NOT get any more money from us personally, and we are drafting to have them replaced for employees by Marriott as I write this. I guess the Hilton family lowered their standards and now their customer base also. Shame. One phone call of not lies or an actual manager taking the time to speak to one of us and correct the issue would have gone a long way.

Front desk check in lady was very rude and over the top. Went to the desk to ask about something and before she would answer she demanded to know or room #, although i checked in 10 mins ago. Left the room to go out for the day, came back around 4pm and our room hadn't been cleaned. When we called to get fresh towels we were TOLD to come get them from the front desk. Staff in the hallways were nice. Definitely won't stay there again and I'm a rewards member. Guess that doesn't mean anything.

I had a great experience at Double Tree hotel. The staff was friendly, prompt, and courteous. They have a business center with Mac and a PC for all types of guests. They have bar and a well stocked snack cabinet. The room was very clean, modern, and comfortable. I liked that the heat was on before I entered the room. I only stayed the night and it was just for a place to sleep so i didn't explore much. I would definitely recommend and try to stay there again if I'm in the area. So far it's been the best hotel I've stayed at in Winston Salem and I saw that they were pet friendly too!
