Had to bring my grand dog back to the Camden SPCA. They were so caring and let me spend time with her

Amazing employees, took excellent care of our fur kids; they didn't want to leave. Super nice facilities and very affordable.

Horrible..meet and greet loved the dog then rejected because I don't have an acre. Love and caring people rejected for a great home for Niko... priorities all screwed..never again..try to save to great home

People Keep dropping off their adult cats and kittens in my driveway. I am overrun with cats as are 3 of my neighbors. I went to THIS shelter with 8 kitten/cats only to be turned away claiming they "had no cages". With kind of a place is this?? So where do I go?? ANYONE????

Our adoption fee is not 300-400 dollars. A puppy is 260.00 an adult is 185.00 and a senior is 88.00. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered. Just so you have the right information. Thank you.
Lots of people looking for companion pet. You can call the shelter and make an appointment to surrender. Your pet.
You can apply to state of Delaware
https://www.fsac-spca.org Here you can see what dogs are available for adoption.
Look up the county your in.....example Kent County SPCA
Yes !
Unfortunately, we can only take animals who came from our shelter. So we can scan for a microchip and if the dog did come from us, there is a $20 surrender fee. If not, we cannot take the dog but refer you to someone who may be able to help.
18 and yes they accept volunteers
Post free kitten's on Facebook
You can get a hold of social services and see if you're eligible for the fixed and fab program
we do not currently have any under 20lbs available for adoption. We update our website daily and whenever a new animal becomes adoptable. Please keep an eye on our website.
I just called to inquire and was told they don't ever take in stray cats. Sorry. I hope this helps.
A kitten is $75, a Cat is $50, and a senior cat is $25
Hi Richard, when did you call? Please call during our business hours Tuesday-Friday 11-5 or Saturday 11-4 to speak with one of our staff. Thank you!

You can call ahead and get a certificate depending on your income for reduced rates and tgey also have specisl clinic dates for tge public at reduced rates depending on the size and breed
Believe they have a smaal selection.
During our once a month low cost vaccination nights we do offer nail trimmings. Please check our facebook page for clinic dates.
We would not be able to take in a wild bunny. Give us a call at 302 943 6032 and we can give you some other places and numbers to try and find help
Not currently. Our vet is semi retired and does not do outside surgeries anymore. We are working on finding a vet for outside surgeries and will resume our spay/neuter program once we do.
Please take the puppy to a vets office asap! Delmarva animal emergency, vca, brenford, Forrest ave
They did
Good question I'm not sure I was there delivering oil
They may not be until shelter but they are shelter that is very rude and the people that work there make you feel so incredibly bad it's ridiculous because I have stray cats that I feed they would not let me adopt a little dog for my eighty-year-old mother with Parkinson's because I don't have rabies shots for them they're not my cat's they're strays I just feed them
It depends what kind of animal you're trying to adopt. You fill out the adoption application online, and once approved we call you to schedule an appointment. www.fsac-spca.org
Yes! Vaccine clinics are currently being held on Wednesday's from 10:30am-2:00pm. Microchipping can be done for $25.00.
Unfortunately we are not an open admissions shelter. I can refer you to Petfinder.com, search the breed and some rescues will come up and I'd reach out to them.
We do! We offer spay and neuters every single Wednesday by appointment only. Just call to schedule with us! Neutering for cats is $50, which also includes Rabies.
You can go and see them you just cant adopt until you're 18
I don't know, but I Signed up for low income price
At that point, they're probably all sick and should get medical attention at once.
You will have to contact your county Code Enforcement Officer. They have knowledge of the current laws
You can contact the state's animal control at 302-255-4646.
First State has multiple service options
No kill rescue. Check with local vet about euthanization
Good morning Joseph, unfortunately we are not animal control you will have to reach out to them 302-255-4646 x1 . thank you!
I know their rates are cheaper than most vet's, but can't say specifically. Check their website? Or call them when they open on Tuesday.
No I am sorry we do not do that here. A groomer would need to do something like that.
They only do them at the shelter once a month. You can take them to Petco on Saturday between 10 - 1. I took my 2 cats (they do dogs too) and I paid $22 a piece plus they gave them a free exam. The shots are good for one year but if you get them done again before the year is almost over then they will be good for 3 years. I hope this helps.
yes we offer vaccinations once a month at our vaccine clinics. our next clinic is on November 1st at 5:30pm and we end at 7:00pm
Good morning, Unfortunately at the moment we are at capacity for cats and kittens, we do have a waiting list if you would like to be placed on our waiting list please give us a call
I have a pug hes the best dog hes 12 and blind but he's the best dog ever
Yes we do once a week on Wednesdays. please call us anytime to schedule an appointment.
we offer vaccine clinics once a month, if you are referring to a heartworm test that is $25.00 and our next clinic is 9/13/2018. Thank you!
I always have the spca clinic do my dogs shots bcuz its cheaper but they do write down the animals name and info and i get a copy and they keep one.
Are they feral cats? If they are feral you would have to trap them. We have traps here for a 50 cash deposit. You get the money back when you bring the trap back. Our surgery price for feral cats is 35.00 which includes the Rabies vaccine. If they are not feral our surgery price is 60 for female and 40 for males. You can call 302-943-6032 to set up the appointments. We do them every Wed. Let me know if you have any more questions about the process. Thank you.
Go to a vet or the clinic they have at tractor supply on most sundays.
Tractor supply in Camden has a clinic on Sundays. Prices depend but are better than most.
They have an assortment of animals and the animals needing a home vary as new come in. The best thing to do is to give them a call every so often or track what animals they have for adoption on their website. If you do a search for First State Animal Center and SPCA it'll come up.
Jean is right. Please if he's half the pet you say take the time to goto the spca .
Best bet is to check their website. They get puppies quite often but they seem to go fast compared to the full grown dogs. You should consider a young dog. Many are already house broken and wonderful pets. We got a 2 yr old and couldn't be happier. Neither could he.
Just bring the cat in. They will take it from there.
Yes
They do have a few paid jobs. Advertising heavily when they have positions open.
Are the dogs still available.
I believe they do. I found a place call Spay and Neuter Clinic that has very discounted prices and a caring staff to boot. I would recommend using them.
That isn't normal with that breed has something changed in your household to upset? Yes they will take but be upfront and tell them of the problem
