I have a 1 year old pit lab mix he’s the best dog I could ever ask for but I have to relocate him will he be put in a good home and is there a fee I have to pay I don’t wanna send him here but it’s my last resort he’s great with kids dogs/others

Theirs a $50 fee to take your dog there...but contact Brandywine SPCA in Georgetown or the Dover PetSmart...they are a no kill shelter...

You send him there it's a death sentence. Call rescue shelter or SPCA see if they can help . Look up service dogs and maybe donate him to a reputable company that trains them
