This hotel and staff are outstanding ! Quality Inn Hanes Mall is the best place to stay in W-S for an affordable and hospitable experience. We had spent the previous night at an AWFUL hotel, a different Quality Inn located on University. It was a miserable experience and we needed to make new arrangements. Called over to the Hanes Mall location. Greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable man who assured me that they had a room for us and that he would hold it for us until we sorted out our problems at University location. When we arrived at the Hanes Mall location it was like the sun had replaced the cloudy day. The facility is clean inside and outside, and very welcoming from the first step though the door. The front desk manager, same as on the phone earlier, was world-class in his personable professionalism. Thomas, you are one of the greatest employee assets that we have ever seen. Made our stay perfect, truly not one moment when we weren't happy to be at Hanes Mall Quality Inn. The room was clean and modern and fully stocked, very comfortable. The rest of the front desk staff and facilities staff were excellent as well, very friendly and helpful. Nothing but good things to say about this place and these people, thanks so much for helping us turn around our trip to Winston Salem. Highly recommend staying at Quality Inn Hanes Mall,

OK because we didn't have to sleep outside. All amenities were out of service, so we were told we were upgraded to a suite. Their suite is 2 adjoining rooms, one with couch and chair, the other has bed. So, instead of sleeping in second bed of original room I'm on the bar of a pull out sofa, smothered by the previous 20yrs of smoking patrons,ugh,wish they'd make it clear it's a crack motel opposed to presenting it as the comfort arms lol

I have seen so many different reviews regarding this hotel. This place was excellent. Bed had the bed bug protector on it. shower/tub was clean. Bathroom was clean. Doors locked. TV worked. Wasn't shady at all. I'm a New Yorker maybe I'm just not scared of people that are also staying at the hotel. Stop giving harsh reviews when there is absolutely nothing wrong with this place. This was actually my 2nd time there in about a 7 year span. Nothing horrific. Stay with your family or by yourself. Its all good!!!

Room was good. However do not go here for the amenities. Gym was closed until further notice and it looked as if it had been closed for awhile. Breakfast was the skimpist breakfast I have ever seen. Usually you can at least get a waffle and they are usually good but no waffles here. And again I do not think they have had waffles or any other decent breakfast in a long time.
