Does your firm handle MTA bridges and tunnel violations in conjunction with cashless tolling?

We actually do not handle EZ pass tickets. They carry 0 points and do not affect your license or insurance rates. Good luck, however, fighting them. Attorney Advertising

We do but only when the client has a reasonable chance for a successful outcome. You need to show a reasonable excuse for your failure to timely respond to the offense as well as a reasonable defense. Attorney Advertising

I got a ticket for disobey stop sign, the officer told me that i did not stop at the stop sign, but after i checked my dashcam video, i found that i stopped at the stop sign. Can you guys fight this ticket? How much you charge? I am an uber driver

Amine Chafi | Oct 6, 2020
Weiss & Associates, PC | Oct 6, 2020

James, a stop sign ticket is a 3-point ticket that carries roughly a $150 fine.  It also can adversely affect your insurance rates if you have any other convictions (or an accident) on your record within the last 36 months.  We, therefore, recommend that you plead not guilty and fight this ticket (especially if you have any other open or closed traffic tickets within the last 3 years). We can help and, if you retain our law firm, you will NOT have to appear in court. We charge a flat fee of $350 for most NYC traffic tickets. However, we have special pricing for TLC drivers like yourself. Attorney Advertising

I have a CDL and I got 2 tickets today! Is it possible to get those knocked down too no points?

Jermaine Pennie (JPenn) | Oct 6, 2020

Hey Vinnie, in my situation I work with the city. I got a failed to yield to ped ticket which is generally a hard ticket to fight and I was told by Weiss group that fail to yield to ped with all the vision zero in ny is no joke. I just gave them the information and let them take care of it. I don't know how but when I got my not guilty from the judge these guys work magic. Telling you they are good in court.

Whoever is the secretary she sucks, she had a bad attitude all because I ask how do I know for sure if this is not a scam

maria rivera | Oct 6, 2020
Weiss & Associates, PC | Oct 6, 2020

Maria, called us and asked if we were a "scam". We explained that we've been in business since 1991, that our lawyers are all licensed and in good standing, and that we have tens of thousands of happy, past clients. Our staff are polite and helpful. We invite anyone to test us out.

I got hit with an electronic device ticket and it doesn't feel like there's a way out of it. How do I fight a NYC electronic device ticket?

Jason Cook | Oct 6, 2020
Weiss & Associates, PC | Oct 6, 2020

An electronic device ticket carries 5 points and roughly a $200 fine in NYS. In NYC, these tickets are particularly hard to fight because there is no plea bargaining. The only way to possibly beat a NYC electronic device ticket is to plead not guilty. Feel free to call us to discuss your case further in a free consultation. 212-683-7373 Attorney Advertising

I've just been given my first traffic ticket on an otherwise spotless record. I don't know what to do at this point. How do I fight a New York City traffic ticket?

Jason Cook | Oct 6, 2020
Jermaine Pennie (JPenn) | Oct 6, 2020

Take it to Weiss and associates. It is easy take your ticket to them ask them to fight it for you. You literally pay the fee and they take care of everything else on your behalf including the court appearance. When I got my ticket, I didn't have to appear in court. They took care of all the details and I was very satisfied when I was emailed that my ticket came back as not guilty for me.

I've been served a speeding ticket but I'm not sure it's worth the time or money to fight it. How much does a New York speeding ticket cost?

Tom Schwarz | Oct 6, 2020
Rich Waldron | Oct 6, 2020

I can't tell you if it's worth fighting or not but in my case it was worth fighting. By hiring them I did not have to appear at any hearings (I pleaded not guilty) It worked out well for me by having my ticket dismissed but it is not guaranteed that every ticket ends the same way. Their fee was $500, I don't know if there is a sliding scale depending on the type of ticket. I can only say in my case it was well worth it. Good luck.

Cop ticketed me for "multiple offenses" I don't agree with it, but this is all very overwhelming. How do I fight a New York traffic ticket?

Jason Cook | Oct 6, 2020

15 days on ticket mean 15 business days or regular days?

Haroon Rashid | Oct 7, 2018
Weiss & Associates, PC | Oct 6, 2020

The 15 day deadline listed on the NYC traffic ticket form means 15 regular days. With that said, you often have more than 15 days to actually answer the ticket. If you're "late" in answering, try to enter your not guilty plea anyway and as soon as possible. Or call us at 212-683-7373 for a free consultation. Attorney Advertising.

Every case is different and depends on location, severity of offense(s), points, etc. I've had 3 different tickets handled by them for myself and family, and they were all different prices. That being said, expect to pay around $400 and up.
