Went here with someone who needed help for anxiety and we got a room fast but it was such a small room they felt cornered and their anxiety got even worse. We waited over an hour because there was a Covid Incident and the Provider was dealing with that and couldn't come yet. Almost an hour later a nurse comes in and asks question and says the provider will be in shortly. Over an hour later the provider hasn't come we are still in the same room the nurses are joking and laughing and asking one another what food and drink they want. The person I was with then decided they want to leave and the nurse told us we can't leave. The nurse then says an AMA Form needs to be signed and that took about 20 minutes to get the AMA Form. The nurse who got the AMA Form was very understanding and calm versus the other nurses who were reactive. All together not a good experience for the person I was with that wanted help. The level of patient care at this location could improve significantly and I feel awful for any future patients that come to this location.

Please please read for the safety of you child's mental health!!!! I will not digest too many details of course but be aware. If you do go here for your child before they let a psychiatrist speak with your child make sure it is NOT Dorothy. This woman doesn't not care about your child's well being or safety. If your child has any mental issues or bad thoughts, she only cares if the issues are currently present during the conversation. Meaning if your child suffers maybe depression and goes through highs and lows, she only cares if your child is at a low while speaking to her. If you child is in a neutral state at the time she thinks your kid is fine. Your child can even ask for help and all she wants to do is put them on medication and send them home. She will also insinuate you are a liar and argue with you about your situation and what happened or what was done and/or said. This woman should not be a psychiatrist for anyone but definitely not for an adolescent. We did speak to other staff about the situation and all of them were caring and understanding. Treated my child with respect as they told them their complaints about Dorothy. However, after experiencing the level of utter disrespect and carelessness from this woman we all decided it is not a safe place for our child mentally. Dorothy also called back and lied about the conversation we had to another Guardian. She needs to be removed from the facility especially since this location accepts children.

The staff here is so kind, and they make the facility feel so welcoming. I would recommend this place to any who is struggling with mental health.

In the waiting room I was able to hear all the details of the other patients serious mental health concerns as they were checking in. No attempt at privacy at all. Major HIPPA violations.
