Close to Hume lake and Kings canyon. Nice, clean and quite. Real 100% pure Camping Spot.

We go once or twice a year to this camp site and it's absolutely wonderful! You will definitely see wild life! Great family get away from the city life. You will enjoy your stay for sure! The staff is lovely and they are so kind and check in with you on your stay! It's quite and you can hear running water from a stream behind the campsites. If you love to be away from all the other campers, I recommend campsite 33.

It was a unique walk, you can see the hand of God in his creation in all the mountains and valleys and rivers.

Beautiful, peaceful, even rain didn't ruin the camping trip

I don't know about it being open but I do know that there are big ground fire pit rings. Along with a picnic table And bear box per campsite.
Big Meadows road closes in winter. Check the NF website for exact dates.
It's a wonderful campground, but no running water and no showers. There is a nice gas station maybe like 20 minutes from the campsite that does have public showers. Or just take a whole bunch of wipes!
Nope, I was just there 45 minutes ago. Still closed.
Two cars and as many tents as you'd like just has to be 6 people per site unless you're at a group site which the number maybe different. children are not included that in that (6).
