Amazing camping location! We were here early August and the weather was perfect. There was a lot of shade from the trees and just across the street from Lake Tahoe. Only two bathrooms down by the parking lot so plan accordingly! Staff was wonderful! Definitely coming back soon!

It’s a picnic area converted to camp ground. Has only 9 odd sites. 1 toilet no bathroom. No water outlets near camp site. Only nice part about the site is it is close to the lake.

Closed for season. Recreation.gov did not send cancellation emails so we saw a few people showing up only to find they had nowhere to go for the night - the campground is closed for the season due to staff shortages according to their site. When not closed it is a nice campground …
