We were scheduled to check in today at Summerhouse - Lakefront today. We have been on the road for hours heading up that way and checked in based on weather reports. I left a message and received a call back from Holly, who was extremely gracious and kind. She did explain that the roads were closed and she could see from the webcam that the plows were out in full force. She did offer to extend our trip one night. A few hours later, we received a storm advisory stating that the storms were going through Monday evening between 7 pm and 10 pm. I left another message. This time, I was not as fortunate to get Holly but got Kelly. She was not only rude and curt but possesses zero guest service skill. Zero. She could stand to take a class on guest service and even if there is nothing she could do without travel insurance, she needs a lesson on empathy. This is a bad business practice, and we will be sure not to recommend Tahoe Luxury Properties to any of our friends.
