Was trying to build my first computer and was getting a red LED. Had no idea what was wrong as all of the parts were new. I gave it to micro center and within 10 days they had figured out the issue which was that my brand new RAM was faulty, something I didn't have the means of figuring out myself. Big thanks to their support team! I'll be buying all my parts from microcenter, not Amazon now!

Brian in the knowledge bar went above and beyond to help me today quickly get productive again. He did a RAM upgrade with a tough laptop configuration and kept me informed throughout the process. Thank you!

Yes. You are promised a graphics card if you decide to build a full pc there. They are very good at helping newcomers.
I reccimend HP 15-ef1072nr 15.6" Laptop Computer, although it has 8gb ram only. 16gb ram is like 1k+ (I know crazy right) but this is good bang for your buck and will be able to do all if what you want perfectly
I've never seen a phone # for Microcenter. On website below are contact and chat buttons. Try that. https://www.microcenter.com/site/stores/rockville.aspx?storeid=85
Yes, Rene can you share more details with us?
You'd be better of purchasing it online and installing it yourself. Should be fairly simple. You could search up a youtube video to follow.
No comparison with best buy, way better expertise and prices at microcenter
Option 2 getting great advice from one of the workers there. They are very knowledgeable and will help you a lot
Please go to their website site where you can search through their catalog, choose your store, and order it online for store pickup within 20 minutes.
Yes, if you're using the desktop version. If you're using the web version you will need internet
They provide diagnostic services at their support desk, but I don't think they offer any trade-in/used purchasing services.
There are no direct phone numbers to the store, you can either use the live chat on their website or send them an email from their store page on their website.
Recommend calling and asking! They are a great team and very knowledgeable.
Yes but it could take up to 3 weeks to get your computer fixed. This was what I was told when I asked about repairs. They're backed up
Absolutely yes!
Anyone on here should be able to help you.
Tuesdays and Fridays are your best bet for graphics cards
Getting a laptop for less than 500 would be hard to do. Since Chrome books are that much. The Lenovo sounds good as long as it meets your requirements and the sw isn't too much.
I would think so,, because, they have an Authorized Apple retailer located in store.
Just go in and ask them. Make sure the purchase included a charger. Some of the refurbished don't include one. They have universal chargers as low as 17.99 plus tax.
They have a couple numbers, but the only ones I've found all go to an automated voicemail system that does nothing.
Yeah, they don't want any phone calls......
I plug my Netgear router into the FIOS router because the older FIOS router did not have great wifi.
No. They're not that type of place. Suggest going to YouTube and looking at some of the more reputable sources there
No you have to go to them. If you walk in the facility and walk all the way to the end you will see a few very helpful employees willing to answer any questions or help you with any problems you have.
yes bring your machine to there knowledge bar and they will check it in to diagnose, troubleshoot and fix the issue. price is reasonable. I would do it.
Go on micro center website in order to message customer service. Stores can not be called directly.
Yes if you qualify for their store credit card
Yes. They have everything you need to build a computer. They have the best price for motherboard and CPU combo. But if you want the best deal for different parts, you will have to look around. It will be a bit more expensive if you buy everything at microcenter. If you have any question, the sales reps. should be able to help you out picking out the parts.
Pretty sure there are Wi-Fi extenders. Check the website
Yes I believe so
They sell surveillance cameras. As for software aside from the mostly used programs like office or Adobe, im sure you can purchase any software online.
Right now you don't really need one. It's not busy but they are open their regular hours and there isn't really any waiting. That said you be order an in-store pick, or go into their chats,or even call them...but call like right after they open!
Call to make an appointment.
Yep they're open but you should only go if it is essential.
You would go there and check in with someone at the door. Sometime you may even just walk in if there isn't a lot of people
Yes
I dont know that you are talking about
You can just upgrade without reinstalling windows completely. Assuming you are on windows 7 or 8 everything for the most part should just carry over
A quick search on their website indicates no. BTW out are asking Google, not microcenter.
I dont believe they carry it. Your best bet would be Amazon.
They likely do, check their website, www.microcenter.com, you can select the store, and it should tell you the stock. You can even order, and have it ready fi for pickup when you arrive.
They have a repair center Chat with them they will most likely tell you to come in to get it done
Atm you have a lot of options for prebuilt and build yourself. Ryzen 2700 with a nice 1070 or 1060 could work. I would research youtube, linus tech tips and talk to the good people at the byopc in the store they can head you in the right way. If you cant build your own microcenter does offer a build service.
Doubt it....
Call or look at website to see if they have any..
Not sure. Look at their website, choose your store, then look under software se tion or operating system section. It would be better to upgrade to windows 7 or 10.
They have everything you need Farah.
Did you buy the warranty from the store? The answer to this question will depend on the answer.
Yes, if you find the right associate you will find a wealth of good information too. Heck, you may then be able to fix it yourself.
Depends on size of the case and what other devices you have, quality of fans size etc. Best bet is get a free monitoring program online and check your temps while gaming or stress testing.
Just gaming a high clock i5 will be better than the same money on an i7.
