Just had my HQL class at United Gun Shop with Jonathan Bennet. I book the 4 hours class with expectation of boring Laws and to fulfill a requirement. But Jonathan definitely raised the bar, the class was well engaged and informative. United Gun shop and LTTCSatety is definitely a local Gem ( not Jam ) and I would continue the rest of my journey and purchases at United Gun Shop. Price is reasonable and Quality is superb.

I signed up for the MD HQL class through the shop. The staff was knowledgeable, professional and made being a first timer less stressful. The instructor was engaging and had great class interaction. I’ll definitely be back for more classes.

I have purchase 3 guns and some minor gear at United. Always helpful and informative. They make it worth the trip. UPDATE!! Since Google won't let me review a place more than once I am adding to this review. United Guns is the best!! I just had them sell a gun for me...took 1 day. When I walked in to get my check they had the revolver I had been looking to buy for weeks...at the best price also!!! Maybe just luck but every time I walk in they have had what I want when no other shop in town has. Not just once 4 times now. Friendly, helpful and professional every time. Highly recommend United Gun Shop. Update: 10/5/2022 This place is the best. I have purchased multiple firearms here and its always a pleasure doing business with them. They make you feel very comfortable from my 1st visit as somebody who had never been in a gun store or bought a gun to today they treat you with respect. If you haven't been to United Gun Shop then you need to go. you won't regret it

Fantastic service. Can't say enough good things about the staff here. They made my family feel very much welcome, and spoke with us about what suits our needs best. Thank you.

Yes, we have a great consignment program (1/2 our store). Please stop by or give us a call for the details - 888-736-0262.
Any questions ref. to type, length, make, model should be reviewed and current legal status by the Maryland State Police website for what is Legal to purchase or own. Then research with your local/national NRA representative or other 2nd Amendment supporting organization. Call the shop directly.
My expirence has veen very positive more then helpfull and they have a good historical, practical knowledge of Guns, ammo etc...
Yes we do.
Please phone them during work hours. They always answer.
We are following all off the CDC guidelines, state and county regulations, and offering clients options, in order to not use in store physical technology unless they choose. Much of the online applications needed for business, can be done on one's mobile device. Bottom line...we are trying to apply common sense, paired with all of the recommended guidelines.
If you go to the website store.unitedgunshop.com you can easily scroll through each of the 350 options both bolt and semi. Last time I checked there are few options in the semi field.
You will need to pass a background check in store. Once that's done there isn't a waiting period as long as you are over 18.
Yes, but it’s changing so fast you gotta stop by. Most Sig is allocated to dealers so it’s nearly impossible to order, for at least the near future that is.
Bruce, we actually have a good bit of inventory. Every week folks come in and say “man, you guys actually have a good bit of stuff compared to everyone else.” As it relates to seeing items on the website...distributors are not putting things out for order which means you cannot see them on the website. In store though, last week we received 30+ glocks, a batch of M&P’s 10+ARs. Put distributors are really taking care of us. Unfortunately this means that you gotta pop in to awe what’s in stock. As fast as we’d put it on the site it will sell so it’s hard to say.
yes sir.
you still need an HQL to purchase a handgun, but you will be exempt from the training class requierment
We have a shipment coming early next week. We were cleaned out earlier this week.
Long guns require an instant background check and can be taken home that day. Handguns require a license. Go to out website and click on the “hql info” tab. This will give you a complete rundown of how the process works!
Yes sir. We have in house training. Give us a call or stop by and we can walk you through the registration process.
Yes, but it will then have to be transferred to VA where you will need to do formal paperwork. A long gun can be sold and taken home in MD, even as a VA resident, but handguns must go back to VA to register formally.
Eljon is correct. Qualifying individuals can take a long gun home the day of purchase. Charles, the process for a handgun is different. You will need a HQL license. Feel free to give us a shout or look on our website under the HQL info tab and it will tell you the process and give you a link for a training company that can get you squared away.
Reasonable. A little more expensive than online, but you dont have to pay the FFL transfer fees.
Yes. As long as the upper reciever has a HBAR designation.
A 12 gauge shot gun is the most common but some shooters who don't have a lot of experience might think the recoil is a little stout 20 gauge is what I would recommend for someone who is just getting started it still has plenty of Power for what ever you might need it for but felt recoil is significantly less I actually bought my wife a 20 gauge mossberg 500 and she loves it what are your intentions with the gun shot guns are very versatile and can fill a lot of rolls
Agree with Julian. That us a question directly for them. Call or cost. They are total supporters of all things patriotic and will help any way they can. Great shop.
