Applied for a auto loan. No notifications that additional info was needed. No one answers calls (5 attempts). Poor customer service when reached. .

Run, I LITERALLY had the branch manager hand me a scanned piece of paper with MY signature that I DIDN'T sign....a scanned copy with the original paper edges shown from the scan ( pedestrian).....all to circumvent their error in overdraft.....what they didn't count on.....I work with contracts...ALWAYS...ALWAYS sign the date....this copy had a printed day when I ask for the original, I was told they are not REQUIRED to keep the original...BUT I DID....will be filling that NCUA fraud complaint.....check your account settings....someone is trying to pull in funding lost elsewhere in the MECU organization based on the fraudulent changes made to my account.

Worst decision ever! I decided to take out an auto loan with this bank and POOR communication is the BIGGEST issue.The process has taken over a week now and caused me to miss the 3 day pay off program I had with the dealership! I literally had to settle for a higher interest rate with another bank bc the process has been horrifying. If you dont call them, they wont call you and the messaging inbox system via the app is not effective. No one from the loan office attempted to contact me and Ive had to call multiple times to get an update! Out of frustration (on day 7) I decided to try SECU and the process that has taken over one week with MECU, took 1 hour with Secu. Now I'm hoping that the dealership is able to process everything with my new bank without me having to drive 2hrs to the dealership to return and re-register my car all over again! All the negative reviews of this bank is true and I would not recommend.
