Marching with teachers on strike

Now there is bad publicity because of the bullying allegations against your district. Don't know if 100% of everything is true the way it was described. But you should still retrain all your teachers on empathy. Growing up in Chicago and attending public schools many years ago I had a similar bad experience with one of the teachers. It was much less serious than the one involving the little boy recently. However sensitivity training across your whole district would not be a bad idea.

Kids return to school today January 2, 2020. The return date changed because of the make up days from the strike.
No.
No
Yes, but only for teachers.
Yup
I work for CPS, but in another department. So far, yes, school tomorrow. They will decide tonight; if you don't get a call tonight before you go to bed, school is on. I would be very surprised if school is cancelled.
Her school should have a person that provides that information. If there isn't anyone I would suggest you call the selective enrollment high schools you all are intrested in and ask for information on how to start the process.
