Choosing to be anonymous. The building is ok but the hardest part about living here is the staff go out of their way to make things inconvenient. They won’t let drivers bring your deliveries to your apartment. They don’t want the added responsibility of looking at the receipt to see the name of who it is for and letting the person up. This has been extremely rough during Covid. We were all forced to go downstairs to get our deliveries even if sick. Before the management replies and says “you can call us we would make an exception!” Uh. When do you guys EVER answer? I couldn’t get through to the front desk if my life depended on it. They never answer the phone. I challenge residents to try to get a hold of them. We pay too much money for this and every single building in this neighborhood goes out of their way to provide convenience for their residents. Not the Seneca.

If you’re looking to live here but can afford somewhere else, go somewhere else. There’s constant maintenance issues in the building. There are two elevators. Both rarely work at the same time. In a building of this many people, that’s unacceptable. I get the building is old but c’mon. The laundry room has been out of commission for two weeks now as well. When the hot months come around I’ve had a ceiling leak from the HVAC unit both years I’ve lived here without fail. My suggestion is do not give this building your business. Find a new one.

Constantly broken elevators. They jacked my rent but 27%. Impossible to get office managers on the phone. Trapped me into a second year lease with them by not giving me any notice of how much rent was going up when I was going to be out town for a month and a half during the time I could move out even though I asked for 3 months to speak with someone.Thin walls and can hear everything your neighbors do.
