We have been living here for over a year and when i say this place is went above and beyond my expectations!! Luis helped us throughout our application and we were so appreciative of his patience and rapid responsiveness to any of our questions we had. We ended up applying first day! First off, the building its self is they cleanest, well-mannered building i have seen. There is maintenance always ready to assist. They are the most friendliest and helpful group I’ve witnessed at any apartment building. Management is also very hands on and accommodating to every resident. Linda, Luis, and Catalina were always making living here the best experience. They were always inviting, understanding, and actually care for every resident they come across. Even with how amazing the building looks, they are always evolving and adding new additions to modernize the building more. There are many fun events for the community to come together. With the amenities (which is available to rent out for private use as well!) and the adorable doggy environment- we couldn’t miss out on renewing!

Mary Claire, Luis, and Catalina are all amazing to work with. The place is full of amazing amenities and amazing people. The community aspect is fantastic and everything is clean and up to date. This is by far one of the best places to live in the south loop!

Elevate your Lifestyle & your Dogstyle! 😊 Let me start off by saying how GREAT it is to live at 1000 s. Clark! Not just because the location is great and the amenities are ideal, but because they have the best staff and management team! We have lived here for over a year now and our experience just continues to get better. The management team/staff is always so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. I cannot say enough great things about this place! And neither can our puppy Mia, who just loves how dog friendly this place is. The convenience of having a doggy daycare in the building is unbeatable and the dog-run is just pawfect. Needless to say, we LOVE 1000 s. Clark!!! Oh, and I can’t forget about the other resident perk like getting free coffee every morning! What best way to start your day! 😊

What can I say about 1000 S Clark that hasn't already been said in every raving review posted? I've lived in Chicago pretty much my whole life and my experience living at 1000 S Clark has been nothing short of incredible. Here are my top 5 reasons for feeling this way: 1. Ideal Location: Roosevelt train station, Harrison Red Line, Target, and Showplace Icon theaters are all just a stone's throw away. Restaurants and bars galore, just minutes away on foot. Situated in a great spot for public transportation commuters but also pretty convenient access to the expressways and LSD for those who need to drive. 2. Amazing Views: Since I moved in, I've been working from home. During especially stressful days, I've found that looking out towards the lake from my east facing unit has been a simple comfort that helps to alleviate the stress. The rooftop terrace on the 29th floor offers the same view. Hot take but in my opinion, the view stands toe to toe with some of the most popular rooftop bars across the city (Cindy's, LondonHouse, etc). 3. Top notch management and maintenance staff: During the most recent mini heat wave when temps nearly broke 100°F, the A/C unit in my apartment started to malfunction. I reached out to Luis and the management team and before long, Nick, Mario, and Edgar came to replace and reset the unit, ensuring that my space wouldn't turn into my very own personal sauna. 4. Loaded Health Facilities: There's a massive gym, indoor basketball and racquetball courts, an indoor swimming pool, and an outdoor track; a little something for everyone. One of the best feelings is leaving the gym after a tiring workout, hopping in the elevator, and being back home in a matter of minutes. The downside is that this has ruined the standard gym-going experience for me and I don't know how I'll ever be able to commute to a gym again. 5. Resident Events: Last but not least, one of my favorite things about living at 1000 S Clark... the monthly events. I've had the pleasure of meeting residents at every one of the building hosted events that I've attended; people from all over the country, many who are living in Chicago for the first time. One of the most important factors for me when looking for a place to live is the community and the one that has been built here is second to none. The last event was a Boozy Bingo night that turned out to be one of the most memorable nights I've had since moving in. A HUGE shoutout to Catalina and Mary Claire, who went above and beyond to provide a fun filled night full of surprises, including impromptu musical entertainment for the group of us that decided to stay afterwards at the Neighborhood Bar (another gem of an amenity). When they're not working hard to keep residents delighted, I'm pretty sure Catalina and Mary Claire moonlight as a rap duo. In short: the staff, location, and amenities are all incredible. But maybe the real amenities are the friends you make along the way. The only con I can think of is that the thermostats are a bit confusing at first, but we recently received some instructions via email on how to use these finicky things.
