Location and breakfast are the only things going for Best Western Hampton Coliseum Inn. We had to ask several times for enough clean towels for our party and for the beds to be made. Our keys kept being deactivated. Each time we politely ask for help, we got excuses not action. The woman working the breakfast bar was awesome. The night clerk tried to help us, but she could not leave her desk to bring towels. Hotel was older and remodeled, but not worth the money we paid for it. Go somewhere else.

Staying at the Best Western Hampton Coliseum was by far one of my worst hotel experiences in my entire life! 😩😩😩 I take specific issue with room 502. While the front desk & housekeeping staff were pleasant, the room walls are too thin. Since the hotel removed carpet & replaced with faux wood flooring, the new flooring amplify sounds. Staff should ask guests at check-in to be mindful of other guests. Meanwhile, construction next door cranked up EARLY this morning. Mind you, both nights of my stay, I slept horribly. The beds are hard. And, something in the air & water severely aggravated my sinuses. I sneezed & had a runny nose all night long both nights. The shower vent appears to have NEVER been cleaned. While showering last night, that’s when uncontrollable sneezing started. Because the hotel was at full occupancy, the front desk couldn’t move me to another room. Saturday night, I thought if I turned off the A/C/heating unit that that would help with my allergy reaction. It did help Saturday night, but not Sunday night. As we speak, I’m suffering. Looking forward to checking out shortly.

Positive: I was really impressed with my room. I love the floor, no more carpet was the best idea ever. Staff was great. Negative: The toilet in my room you¿ve got to flush twice each and every time no matter what. And the bathroom was clean, until you open the shower curtain up and there¿s 2 dried up dirty rags hanging up still. Shampoo is too strong of a smell with the argon

This hotel is awful. The rooms smelled like weed which I’m not against other people doing but if the hotel is non smoking I would hope it would smell better. The front desk staff was nice. However the manager was incredibly rude when we later voiced our concerns about the smell in our room. I would stay just about anywhere else
