When you 1st enter the room everything looks new and updated. There is only one light in the main living area though that really cast enough light for the room and it's A lamp on the opposite side of the room. The smaller lamps that are by the bed attached to the wall one the bulb was out. At the desk area right below the TV there is an LED light that does cast some light if you are sitting at the desk working. The sink did not drain nor did it have a lender for me to work the little stopper the sink. I called downstairs but was told that I couldn't get anyone to look at it until in the morning. Then when the gentleman did come to service the drain and fix the shower because it wasn't putting out any hot water, he left boot prints all over the tub and the floor and the bathmat. The lady at the front desk was very apologetic and offered to come and clean the room but at that point I just wanted to Go to my room and be able to take a shower after I cleaned it myself. The floor is a laminate that does not feel like it is put down all the way and it's very very slippery so be careful any water on it at all will cause you to slip whether in your bare feet or your shoes. I had stayed in this hotel 2 years ago and I must say the updates look nice but are superficial.

Besides the lady who checked us in the staff was amazing and super helpful. The 1st room we got was icky and smelled like mold. Told the front desk and they said they had no more rooms. I asked for a refund for the room because I couldn't stay in those conditions and the lady eventually changed our rooms. Felt bad tho as I noticed right after we moved they put another couple in our original room. Was a great location close to the Coliseum tho, nice little walk

Not as clean as it appears, and very understaffed. I was disappointed, as this location isn’t nearly as clean as your typical Marriotts (reference picture of a dirty rose pedal found on the floor next to the bed). They also still are not servicing rooms, and you have to go to the front desk to get clean towels. And even then, I was only able to get one clean towel when I attempted to replace mine after three nights of staying here. They advertise a bar/bistro, but because they are so undermanned, it was barely open the entire duration of my 5-day stay. If I ever stay in this area again, I will try the Hyatt, or the Holiday Inn.

We had a balcony with no chairs. Asked for chairs they suggested we take 2 from someone else's patio. And your room doesn't come with a microwave. Other than that. Pretty room.and clean
