Took class last week and was amazed at all the things i need to know and learn about handling, shooting and the law, I had Willie, Julius, and Dave was my range instructor, very helpful answered all questions and concerns, I will be going back for more training and lots more range time. Willie is very good at lecture and instruction as well as down to earth and downright funny and personable.

Staff here will act like they don't see you unless you're going to the range. One of the guys that works the range is great. Everyone else is awful. This was not a good experience for a new gun owner. The manager does nothing with customers. She walked by four times before saying someone else will come over the help eventually. Other staff is slow to help if they don't know you. Again terrible if you're a new firearm owner. I will continue to driver 25 minutes to Target Sports in Royal Oak.

First if your planning on carrying a handgun on a bus ,car you can not open carry that weapon! You need a CPL for that, also open carry does have restrictions I did it for 8 yrs in Michigan before getting a concealed carry liscence. You will need to get a purchase permit to buy a gun without a CPL. Classes for CPL last about 8 hrs through action impact, 70$ + 50 to 100 rounds of ur desired ammo. Gun prices vary 9mm between 375$ - 500$ 40cal 450$-575$ 45cal 500$+ Once you pass the CPL range test in Wayne county you bring your paperwork to the county sheriff's office file paperwork and pay 120$ . Your CPL. Liscence will come in the mail about 6-8 weeks later. ***BEFORE YOU TAKE THE CLASS**" make sure this is what u want to do go shoot on a range , saying u want this and actually doing it and abiding by the rules and laws and knowing when/ when not to shoot is a different story. ***Also note*** if you have a domestic violence charge, ur ineligible for this!

You will have to go in to the business in order to get a price, they are not allowed to give pricing over the phone. I dealt with the same issue last year when purchasing a shotgun for my son for Christmas

How much to tent a gun and how much to shoot
You can not have a gun "gifted" to you. In other words, a person can not purchase a handgun and then hand it over to another person for their ownership/use. You MUST register the handgun in your name. With that said, a person can purchase, register and own a handgun and then transfer ownership of the gun to another person without money changing hands as long as the person receiving the handgun is legal to own a handgun. I'm not an attorney but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn once......
I'm unsure about the rental part, but I am confident that your child can shoot with you. My son is 16 and shoots with us all of the time...both with hand guns and our AR15 and his own 12 guage shot gun.
If you dont want a hand gun, no reasom for CPL. Having a CPL should not change the timeframe at which you buy long guns/shot guns

No one under 18 can use the rented firearms. I've had my 10 year grandson with me with no problems.

Yes. There are pistol and rifles for rent. Pistol rentals are 15. Rifle rentals are 20-25. There is also high end rentals tat are 30-35

A box of 50 rounds 9mm is $19. Range time is $10 per half hour. Pistols you can use target loads or self defense. Shotgun is slug only. You may purchase rounds from AI or any reputable ammunition dealer, however, self loads are frowned upon.
