I would never refer this place to anyone. If I could rate zero stars, then I would. 10/10 do not recommend. Please stay far away! I had several issues but the main one was roach infestation. I allowed the apartment complex to use their resources for two months to attempt to fix the issue but it was not resolved. I spoke with leasing consultants, management and the property manager who were all disrespectful and unhelpful. I stopped living there but continued to pay my rent and that is all they cared about. They had no interest in the fact that the roaches were in my kitchen, bathroom (shower, toilet, and sink), my couch and my bed. I also seen a couple of roaches crawling under my entrance door into my apartment from the stairway. I constantly kept reaching out, but it got to the point where management was never in the office so they told me they would return my call and never did. Eventually, they stopped answering me altogether. I completely moved my stuff out within 4 months of moving in because it was inhabitable.

**This review is for Jasper Harris, not Rivertowne as a community** Jasper Harris, head of maintenance, has been working proficiently managing a complex of apartments that is far to large for the employment status it carries. When my A/C unit had hit complications that required a replacement, Jasper was extremely patient and cordial through the mess of my apartment and my attitude. He communicated clearly and effectively that there was a shortage of replacement units and was informative about what options I may have and what kind of a time range I was facing. Everything was handled in a professional and timely manner once I was in contact with Jasper. I would recommend him for any HVAC issues you may be facing or a new hire to a company that can show him the appreciation and recognition that he deserves.

At first I loved this place and then I lived there for another year and it got worse. Bad plumbing and mold, and I would constantly put in problems with maintenance and they would do a band aid fix and came back in a week to fix it yet again, so after my family finally got the bathroom “fixed” we had mold which was never taken care of and when they did come they did left the wall opened in my child’s room with the pipes out. I also had problems with roaches, shootings, and rude office workers, all except one. Rent was too high considering the area. I would not recommend anyone to live here especially if they have a family with kids. I usually do not do reviews but this was not the best experience.

RUN!! Do not move here!! Property management is rude, scummy, and power hungry. Definitely the opposite of the "first class customer service" that they claim to have. Beware of any specials they may use to try to get you to move in because if you ever need to leave they will make you backpay for it!! Rent goes up twice a year every year, once at lease renewal and once at the beginning of the year. Gunshots can be heard every night all night long. Multiple dead bodies have been found since I've lived here. Someone backed into my car and then drew a gun and told me to leave. A neighbor was robbed at gunpoint and they tried to steal his car. Another guy in my building was shot in the leg while sitting on his couch awhile back. There's nowhere near enough parking for everyone, and your car will get dented up while it's there. Maintenance comes and goes as they please with little to no warning. To prepare for new residents all they do is spray paint everything and I mean everything, even things that absolutely should not be painted like the tub and the stove. It only looks nice until you use it once so don't be fooled. There are so many layers of paint on my bathroom door that it won't even close. They like to cover up problems instead of fixing them. I could go on but there are so many reasons to avoid this place at all costs, just do yourself a favor and run.
