The check in process and lobby was impressive. We arrived late and were really tired. The key card worked seamlessly but once I walked through the threshold, it was not welcoming. The tile floor appeared clean but was slick. The room smelled old and mildewy. Hubby says the floor was damp under the A/C. I wouldn’t walk on the carpet without my sneakers because the carpet looked old and stained. I desperately wanted to lie down and rest my head so I covered my hair, tucked my pants in my socks and fell asleep. The bathroom was very clean and I welcomed the shower. (Rm 220) I’m including the room just in case this was an isolated incident. I told my hubby we would spring for the Hilton in the future. Clarion Hotels, we had a nice run. Down from a 5 to a 2 in 20+ years.

So the room was very nice and clean. The TV remote did not work good. Front desk came up and said they could not do anything about it. The hot water was not hot, front desk said it was because we were on the 4th floor and they could not switch our rooms. We were just stuck. Fast forward 6:42 am the next morning our phone rang, it was the front desk asking if we had a plunger! Are you kidding me! Very unprofessionail. There has to be more than one plunger in this hotel!

Friendly staff. Nice pool (no hot tub). Room was clean, kind of dated. Beds could’ve been more comfortable, but not bad. Decent for the price.

Made the reservation on choice brands website. When I got to the hotel, they charged me 25% more. Front desk said that only the GM could override or issue a refund. The GM would be there the day after we left. Then, every time I called for the GM, she was out and would be in the next day. Never got my refund. Also, the shower floors and walls were covered in mold. We will never stay here again. If you stay here, expect to get ripped off!
