I would steer clear of St Lucie Heart and Family. We had a terrible experience there with one of the front-desk workers, Sheri (or Shari?) Martin. This woman was agitated and vulgar, using profanity on three separate occasions as we were forced to wait nearly 1 hour past our appointment time, and swearing at my 81-year-old father, who was a patient at this facility. Of course, we no longer go to St Lucie Heart and Family. Ms. Martin was not courteous or professional, let alone civil toward a senior citizen because he was disappointment his appointment time was not kept. Clearly, Ms. Martin had no place working at a doctor's office but St Lucie Heart and Family obviously does not screen its employees or monitor their conduct because we still have not received an apology.

Do NOT bring your loved ones here. Unprofessional. Ridiculous. My Father needs his prescriptions refilled. I have called this facility 2-3 times and my Pharmacy to get his meds for the past 2 weeks; Nothing! Now I’m having to adjust my Fathers meds and spreading them thin on what we have left. This is literally playing with a persons life. It’s not that hard to have the doctor approve of a refill until his next appointment. This is not the first this has happened when trying to get prescriptions refilled. Not only that I booked an appointment to be called a few days later stating they don’t know why the system let me book it but we cant be seen. Unacceptable, it’s your systems fault not mine they should be able to accommodate their patients when they messed up. This will be my last appointment with this facility and HCA in generally. I will also be emailing upper management about this. Absolutely disgusting service.

If I could give it 0, I saw how an older lady was denied a date. His appointment was at 1:00 pm but it was 1:20 pm and they told him no because it was already late. The lady was waiting MONTHS for the appointment. The lady told them she was on the line. (They didn't believe him) I was there and maybe 5-10 minutes late. The lady never disrespected. They offered her the next appointment for February 2023. They told her that the doctor was seeing one last patient until 1:30 pm and the doctor had to leave at 3:40 pm 😱 and it was a resounding NO. The nurses must have consulted with the doctor. It's amazing they forget that they reached that age. *** It was none of my business... But I have both of my parents who are disabled and struggling to maintain their health. *** Karma exists 🤷

The care is okay BUT don't try calling to check on anything because you can be on hold for literally 60 minutes or so but the norm is you will not be able to speak with a human. To get to a specialist by phone forget it. There is one number for everyone .This is the reason I gave 1 star

What is the clinic number
I've never been on hold with any other drs office longer than I have with Heart and Family. Never less than 30 minutes, it ridiculous! I was just on hold to make an appointment for my mammogram for 35 minutes, I finally hung up.
I see nothing has changed
I want to cancel my appointment. Alissa Phelps 6/22/67
Totally agree.. Although I see a different doctor.. But it's not only in this office.. Everywhere you go today, with a big practice, it's always the same.. Most workers have no manners..
I had to go physically up there for my information smh due to no callback
Yes they do
You will have to call them
Any doctor will prescribe whatever medication the patient needs to alleviate their condition. Please make an appointment with a doctor.
It depends on what department you are trying to contact.
The patient portal is an online dashboard assigned to you only. It requires a userid and password. See the admissions or checkout desks for help in getting access to the patient portal. When calling, leave a detailed message with your name, birth date, doctor your want to see, and your call back number. Appointments can be made at the patient portal once you have access.
Sorry I don't know. Call their office
Sharon is right, there are many different departments and they all have different fax #'s.
