I picked this hotel based off reviews for our trip to Nashville, others IHG properties didn’t have such good reviews. It was close enough to downtown for us. The staff was so nice, hotel was beautiful, and the shuttle to downtown was great! We felt close to everything around but we were still able to relax in this quiet hotel!

Standard IHG express. After two years of no travel (thanks Covid), I was glad to see the cinnamon rolls are back at the breakfast bar. Nice selection of other things too, and the fresh fruit was nice and healthy looking. One down side of the stay was that there was no hot water in the bathroom sink. I told the front desk this on the first morning, figured they might get someone to look at it, but... day three, still only cold water for the bathroom sink. Second issue was that the in room fridge woke me up at 4 am with a weird, low pitched humming noise (like a sci-fi UFO landing). Up and down the scale, I finally resorted to unplugging it. Plugged it back in before I left for the day (so I could have cold drinks later), and let the front desk know. The "answer" to that was a "well, sometimes they do that." Yes, that's an answer, but for a hotel, it's probably not the best answer to a guest's concern.

I travel for a living and stay in a lot of Hilton properties. IHG rewards far exceed any of the others. Not to mention the beds are way more comfortable. I got the message that my room was ready at 9am for this hotel. I was greeted by the pleasant shondell ( think that was her name) I was upgraded to a suite also. I did miss out on the breakfast as I had an early flight but I’ll certainly be staying here again. I thought I left something and called and the front and jarrod right on checking my room. . Great experience and I’ll be back next week Frank Tuzinski

Positive: Great location right by Grand Opry hotel, venue and mall. Only 15 minutes to downtown. Very clean, great breakfast & staff. FYI - if you drive or stay downtown or be prepared to pay $25 a day parking min. Negative: No

Be careful for surge prices - rides can double or triple at key times if your are attending a conference in the area.
It is very close but you would have to walk across some busy streets, just let the shuttle van take you over. Just 5-7 minutes that way.
Yes, there was a flier but its not free...
