It's a good place to be if you fall on hard times and find yourself homeless.

I had food left over from my party that we couldn't eat and set a bit going away I took it to the shelter and they took it all and people will not go hungry!

They take only families. You have to have a child under 18
I believe you have to be in the shelter for them to help you, but you can call and ask.
You get your own room with your family. But that's about the only upside. The bathrooms are disgusting, there is only one working tub in the entire building to bathe your babies. And some (not all) of the staff talk down to you as if they are better than you. I don't recommend coming here or to Acts shelter
Not sure, give them a call! The office staff is really friendly
The shelter won't accept them
Yes ask for Ms. Hall
Yes
I'm sure
Yes, they do.
Depends on where you get sent too
Yes
The address James is talking about is called 1430 Cherry St.
OSH put me nd mi family here
You have to go to the intake center @ 1430 Cherry St.
At the moment, donations are not being accepted. However, my 5 daughters+I just got housing after spending almost a yr there. I'm a single mom + lost my storage unit so moved in with whatever we had at the shelter with us. If you decide you have anything I may need or my girls please.. I'll gladly take it off your hands!
I'm thankful that you would like to reach out to step in family man or you can call and find out just where how you can support the shelter please don't give up make the call find out how you can be a blessing and will thank you God-bless.
Stenton family Manor, appreciates all donations, but when it comes to food , because of allergies and different medical conditions, we rather that food donations be pre-packeged, or in it's natural form (raw), that way we are able to prepare it to certain specifications, and all the families living at Stenton family Manor can partake of the food donations so graciously given.
It's ok for a family to stay here as long as you apply at the appletree intake center but it closed right now so you've to go to the salvation army at ridge and broad and they'll randomly assign you to a shelter once you get assigned you'll have to go down there to the appletree intake center multiple times until you get perminate placing at a shelter there's a high chance they'll relocate you
Idk but if you go downtown to 1430 cherry street they'll give you more information
No i use to stay there that's not true they well act like that they don't know anyone who is there i just left that prison hell hole
You have to go down to 1401 cherry street OSHA and fill out the papers and they have to confirm that your homeless they going to find you a single womans shelter unless you have kids. But you can save money and you will have a curfew and they find you an apartment but
