I gave a separate review of 5 stars for the safari. We were lucky that the young woman who greeted us was able to tell us how everything works, it isn't clear. She explained that we do the drive through part and then come back through the building to get to the petting zoo. When we returned to go through the petting zoo, there was an older blonde woman who was less than friendly. It made me feel like she thought the guests were a burden. I think maybe a mental reset of the business she is representing. Other than that we loved the place. We would return if we are back in town, but if we were greeted with an attitude to begin with we would definitely have left immediately.

The drive through part is decent. I’m upset about the guinea pigs and prairie dogs, though. Please consider my actionable feedback. The guinea pig males and females are all together, in far too close quarters. Males and females should not be together, period, or they breed (which is happening). They barely had room to move. I would highly recommend utilizing the empty rooms or exhibits and separating the males and females. You can then use the metal enclosure for moms and babies. Each guinea pig needs at least 7 sqft. You definitely have the floor space to at least expand the cage. Please also consider more hiding places. There was no hay in sight- which is a main part of their diet! It would be easy to take handfuls of hay from the bales used to feed the larger animals. Salt licks also aren’t necessary- they should get enough vitamin c from high quality pellets with no seeds or fillers and unlimited hay. The prairie dogs were another situation… the poor female kept being attacked by the male. They were both stressed and looked SO sad :( They would be much happier in one of the bigger enclosures, not a tank. With hides and more paper bedding. The outside animals look well cared for. Please extend that care to the inside and petting zoo animals. I won’t come back until this changes.

The drive through was decent, we had a good time besides not having a large variety of animals and most of them (besides deer) can’t come to your car. When we got out for the putting zoo we realized it’s not really a petting zoo. False advertisement. We got told we couldn’t pet 9/10 of the animals put in the “petting zoo”. We did pet a bunny, he was extremely friendly, then they took it away and put it somewhere we couldn’t pet it anymore. The “parakeet paradise” that you’re supposed to be able to walk in was closed. The larger birds had suffered bald spots, either injured or self inflicted from anxiety.

It was awesome, the lamas and the deer just came head first in the car wanting treats. Will definitely go back again

We had great fun feeding the animals from the car. Only $10. Well worth the money.
$17.95 per adult (14 and up), and $11.95 per child (5-13). I believe 5 and under were free. You can also purchase cups of food to feed the animals on the safari...$5 each cup.
I don't think so it is a drive through zoo and u can feed the animals that come up to your car but you can call and ask we enjoyed the zoo
Don't recall any monkeys.
